The Gospel of Thomas is a gospel that was discovered over a half century ago in the Egyptian desert – dates to the very beginnings of the Christian era and may well have taken first form before any of the four traditional canonical Gospels. If you have never read it, here is a link http://www.gnosis.org/naghamm/gosthom.html

Please tell me what you think of it, and what it would mean to Christians if it was to be included in the Bible.

It has been proven beyond doubt that there is a negative correlation between intelligence and acceptance of religion.

Do you think one causes the other, or is it a vicious cycle?

The Bible addresses several beautiful examples of same-sex love, David's love for Jonathan was said to exceed his love for women (2 Samuel1:26)

Ruth's relationship with Naomi is an example of a deep, bonding love, and Ruth's words of covenant to Naomi are often used in heterosexual wedding ceremonies (Ruth 1:16-17)

The Bible has very little to say about homosexuality and Jesus himself said nothing about it at all in the New Testament.

The current Pope was a member in of the Hitler Youth and as such would certainly participated in antisemitic actions and/or demonstrations. As he has not seen fit to recant his membership in this abhorrent organisation, and in view of the catholic church's shocking long term history of antisemitism do you believe he is morally fit to be pope or should he resign?

quran says:(That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-

[4:158] Nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself; and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise;-)
what do u think?

I always hear the "what if" remark. What if there really is a God, then what will you say when you die? Well I propose what if there isn't a God, and we've wasted our lives not enjoying the fruitfulness of sin? What if we die and our lives weren't fulfilled because we wasted worshipping and obeying something that never existed?

I am a Christian, but I believe that by forcing Christian values on the nation like the president is doing right now, we are pushing people away from God.

"The Mainworry lifestyle is an abomination to God. This means it’s disgusting an abhorrence, a feeling of repugnant loathing.

Those who promote this lifestyle have a darkened heart and have become fools by their own perverted mind. Their acts are a disgrace of vile affections doing unseemly passions of infamy. Vain in their imaginations they are morally wicked. They defile themselves through the lusts of their own hearts. It’s indecency, dishonour, and unclean.

But they can’t reserve this life style or death style to themselves, they want to destroy others by promoting it. They want special rights recognized.

Most people could be tolerant as long as this vile death style was not so public. But by promoting this abomination it is impossible to be tolerant, unless you are deceived. Because this would be tolerance of destroying of souls and destruction of our society. Being blinded into acceptance of this repugnant death style will cease God’s blessings. "(quote, Mainworry)

When Pope John Paul ii declared the Shroud of Turin a medieval hoax he should have dismantled Christianity as a Roman Masterpiece in Deception but he took it to the grave with him instead.
It was a Muslim who exposed John Paul's Achilles' Heel and caused the Pope-mobile to be introduced as part of his armour when his Godliness failed.
It is high time that the born-agains and the born-blind abolish false worship and come to Islam.

In the story of Sodom, in the book of Genesis, it never stated the sins of sodom. Obviously the entire city couldn't have been homosexual, or God wouldn't have needed to destroy them, as they would have all died out for lack of procreation. The Genesis story only stated that the sins were so great that God felt the need to destroy them. What were those sins?
Please don't tell me about the men of the city wanting to "know" the angles...
Lot, the 'hero' of the story, offered his own daughters to be gang raped by those same men. Why would he offer homosexuals two virgin daughters? Not to mention, Lot was supposedly the only righteous man in the city, but after the city's destruction, he had incestuous relations with both daughters. So, sexual perversion couldn't have been the reason... God must have known what was gonna happen when Lot and his daughters made it out of the city alive... I assume with that knowledge, if sexual perversion were the deciding factory, he...
