i've been watching sister act 1 n 2 many times and i wanna know why the nuns , i mean the older ones whom the called mother, are covered from head to toe, as if like muslims?

The are covered that way to show humility.
they give up all their worldly things to serve God.

I don't know the reason, but I will share this with you. Recently I attended a seminar, that was held on the grounds of a Catholic church. The seminar was in their conference building, however, we were given a tour of the whole place.
The tour was given by a nun, who was not dressed in a "habit". Of course she was asked why she did not dress traditionally, and she answered that they nuns at this church felt they could outreach in a more productive way, (given their location), than if they wore the "habits".
However, we also toured the "care center" where nuns go to take care of their own in old age. Some of the very elderly nuns still were wearing the gigantic head wear, the whole nine yards.
Very interesting.

You might think that nuns are very holy, but dont be mistaken. my husband was beaten regularly by nuns when he was at school and I know someone else who was in a RC orphanage who was help down by the nuns whilst he was raped repeatedly over the years.
Nuns and priests often have sex with each other, graves have been found under some of their convents where the graves of tiny newborn babies have been found wrapped up.
They probably wear these habits to cover up their pregnancies.
They are wicked people not at all holy. There is nothing about nuns in the scriptures. poeple who live lives in secret usuallu have something to hide.

DO NOT compare!! Muslims have there stupid way of forcing there cover on women coz there horny men are possessive pigs and ur Mohammad is biggest pig he has many many wives but Christianity is more pure and clean its backed up with shyness from the nun that wants to serve god and only him and don't try again to make it look like there is any similarity Islam is a fake faith made of parts of many other faiths with a stupid horny man on its top wake up! change ur faith insted of making it look like Christianity

I assume that the habits (as their clothes are called) are to keep with the idea that modesty is a virtue
