do you think that this could be interpreted as Jesus telling us to keep quiet sometimes when he has helped us in our lives?

Right as my regulars to my questions know - I am Catholic. I havent been to Chapel yet. I have been invited to join an Evangelical group. I am just feeling that being a Catholic is quite a dreary and silent way to praise God. Obviously I pray to him but want to be in a community that worship God with open praise and singing you like you mean it etc. I havent been to Church in over 16 years but I remember it as quite depressing and dont remember feeling joy and praise? This is a big dilemma for me. So all answers welcomed unless you are Jehoviah, mormons. cult etc.

A lot of theists say sentences like 'I couldn't bear living in a world with no God' or 'You just don't want there to be a God so that you don't have to be held responsible for your actions'.

I have, personally, never met an atheist, agnostic, non-theist, deist or pantheist who is unable to seperate wishes from beliefs.

Having said that, completely setting aside what you do believe, here are some strictly speculative questions:

1. Would you like for there to be a God or divine force?
2. Would you like a personal, judgemental creator or a more abstract trancendental force?
3. Would you like there to be an after-life?
4. What form would you like it to take?

A lot of people might say 'What's the point? What is is.' I accept that, but there's nothing wrong with idle speculation... That's all any of us are doing on R&S, when it comes down to it...

Please, no theistic trolls condemning us all to hell... We've heard it before...

Okay...I posted awhile ago about feeling as if I was being watched by this "grey entity". For some reason I kept pictureing this dark grey old looking dude just watching and observing me intensley. I felt very vunerable...

I started to feel lilke this after I attended bible studies with a jahovia witness....when I stopped attending the "grey entity" feeling went away...

Now that everything is back to normal...I have been feeling normal again...but I am interested about learning about the teachings of christ again...but Im actually afraid! Can you belive that?!

Im just need some insight...Im really confused...

I thought your open to the devil, when you don't know the teachings of jesus...not the other way around. :(

I thought that taking a wife, that is 'nikka' to a woman for the purpose of sex as in one night or even one month was against the sharia law. If it is against sharia law then how could an imam nikka them (and to not just one but many different women)knowing what it is for? I forget what this is called, but I have found it somewhere. maybe someone could explain why this happens if it is illegal and what could a legal wife do?
