There is a tradition about them that they slept for about 300 years and then woke up. They had to save themseleves from persecutions being the true followers of Jesus(peace be upon him). The christinas(Heretics) in those days did not believe in the day of reserruction.

I don't mean any disrespect towards Atheists, but lately, I've been noticing that there are many atheist taking part in the Religion and Spirituality question in Y!Answers, I understand that you guys just want us to see the truth (your truth in this case). In Christian the truth means spreading the word of God to the world. In Islam it is called dakwah (if I'm not mistaken). So it turns out that you guys are not that different from the rest of us (Theists). Is Atheisme becoming an anti-religion religion?
I'm really sorry if I offended anyone, I'm just curious.

Can you write a book in the same way as the Quran has been sent?
Can you write a single line like that in the Quran?
If you can then the Muslims of the world shall believe that there is no Allah and will believe that your God is the true God

To all Christian scientists, when the question is asked about where we come from do you follow the scientific path of evolution or the religious path of Adam 'n' Eve?

I'm Heterosexual. But does God not answer my prayers coz I don't think homosexuality is wrong? Someone said that to me earlier when I asked a question about it. I haven't seen anything that has convinced me it's wrong.

I have heard many explanations, but none really seem to make sense. Does it make sense to anybody, that the Ressurection was always there, with God, and is a person to be worshipped? It is at the end of the Bible that it says "I am the Word", So I don't think there can be many Apostles commenting on this topic.

I mean no offense by this question, as obviously KKK people are intolerant and I think they are intolerant of Catholics too, so I'm not implying that Catholics are intolerant of course.

But I did see some Catholic pictures and these people were wearing this clothes that looked very similar to the KKK sheets. Who are they and why do they wear those?

Matthew, Luke, the line of Jesus (contradiction).
To make these to passages seem correct, Christians says that the one is through Josef and the other through Mary. Even though Josef’s name appear in BOTH.
We know that Jesus was a rabbi, in older Bibles he is Refered to as Rabbi and Teacher, now tell me:
How can Jesus be a rabbi if he was not a descendant of Levi (they are the priest)? No where in both passages do I see Levi’s name or even Aaron.

In the Quran Mary is a Levite.

James 1:13 "Let no man say . . . I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man."
Genesis 22:1 "And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham."

If I am not mistaken the Quran states that Abraham was decieved by satan but God intervened and stop Abraham from sacrificing his son.

Can Any christian explain to me these two verses?

Neither the ten commandments or the seven deadly sins say anything about it. Aren't those the seventeen big rules? I am a bit confused with the logic behind the persecution of homosexuals. I know plenty of people who are perfectly nice, dependable and trustworthy human beings that happen to be gay. Why do they have to go to Hell?

If God is one and three at a time, then who was the God in heaven when Jesus was on earth? Wouldn’t this contradict his many references to a God in Heaven that sent him?

I am concerned that the production of Halal meat is a blatant cruelty in the slaughter of animals for food but that this is allowed on spurious cultural/religious reasons.

If I kick my dog I would be taken to court, if I hang a cow up by the rear legs and cut its throat so that it bleeds to death I can sell it in a Halal butchers.

What say the government, what say the animal rights lobbies, what say you?

I wasn't trying to be offensive. I was just trying make point that I don't think people choose to be gay.

What do you think the word "Satanist" means?

If even the contemplation of sinning is a sin (i.e. "sinning in your heart"; see, for example, Matthew 5:28) and if Jesus was tempted by Satan in the desert (Matthew 4:5-8, Luke 4:5-9), how can you say that Jesus was without sin?How can SATAN offer the KINGDOM of HEAVENS to CHRIST since HE himself is the owner of the universe?
What is the sin that people committed that is so incredibly bad that God had to become flesh and die to correct?
Did everyone who died before Jesus died go to Hell? Justify your answer.
