No, it wasn't a sin and you shouldn't delete it.
You made your point.

Whenever you ask a question, or try to make a point, about homosexuality, someone is going to get their knickers in a twist about it. Subtlety is wasted on many people, and directness offends just as many.
I wouldn't delete the question - just accept that when it comes down to sexuality, dogma is a convenient thing for some people to hide behind.

You have every right to ask it out of curiosity and people have every right to either ignore it or try it.
It cannot be a sin to pose the question, the sin would be to stifle debate and stamp on creative thought. Whether or not the action itself is a sin is one for the zealots to consider but I am not about to judge - that is God's business.

Being gay is not a sin, just as that question is not a sin.
There are no sins.
A question can been inappropriate, offensive, rude, hurtful, whatever...but not a sin. The idea of 'sin' is just a way of controlling morality.

Asking questions of any sort isn't sinning. It's like anti-sin. How are you supposed to learn if you don't question?

Being curious is not a sin. And even if it was, you can always be forgiven by Him. ;D
