James 1:13 "Let no man say . . . I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man."
Genesis 22:1 "And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham."

If I am not mistaken the Quran states that Abraham was decieved by satan but God intervened and stop Abraham from sacrificing his son.

Can Any christian explain to me these two verses?

The part in Genesis 22:1 reads differently depending on what version you read. God didn't temp Abraham. He was testing Abraham's faith. Just like tests all of ours.

God does not temp men to evil acts.
The temptation of Abraham was not to do evil but a test to see if Abraham would do the very thing that God himself would later do.
As to being deceived by Satan, that would have come at the begetting of Ishmael.

hi,
I'm Asmaa and I'm a muslim girl
and i think that i have the right answer:
Abraham was'nt decieved by satan; God (ALLAH) ordered him to sacrificing his son (Esmaeal) to test Abraham and see if he is ready to be a prophet or not.
ALLAH did'nt realy want Abraham to kill his son so he sent him a sheap and i think you know the rest of the story

you do realize that those things were written by men, and translated at least a dozen times, and the meaning has changed over the years, even before mohammed started reading them?

Most of the junk in the bible has no meaning any more.
