all religion is flawed. people need to have a little less faith, and a little more free-thought.

His achilles heal? Are you speaking of the guy that was paid by the Russians to assassinate the Pope. Was the Pope's achilles heel a bullet?
You do recognize that the Pope survived the attack and was still able to travel the world spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ.
You do know that this man who attempted the murder was forgiven by the Pope because God is merciful and forgives the sins of the world.
You say his Godliness failed. I say the man was Holy and had God protecting him that day. Your hero, as he seems to be, could not kill the Pope. I would not say that the Pope was abandoned on that day using 'The Age of Reason' as you once put it to me.
It is precisely because I am born again that I realize that Islam, while has many redeeming qualities and deserves respect in the world, is incomplete in describing God. It is precisely because Christians have died to this world and risen anew in the Spirit of God that we see what you do not. My sins are forgiven by the only way that God would forgive them. I repent and by the merits of Jesus Christ I am forgiven. Forgiveness cannot be justly given otherwise, because apart from the redemption of Christ, the declaration of God would still hold that the wages of sin is death. It must be paid. How is your sin paid for? Is it paid for? How can you enter Heaven with sin on your soul? How is your sin removed when it is said by our common spiritual ancestors that it is impossible to remove our own sin. And God is just so our sin would remain our sin.
Christ will set you free. Peace be with you.

Are you implying their was never an assault on a Muslim holyman or woman? Also, for some reason I think if someone tired to blowup the rock at Mecca the Muslim community would demand serious securitiy actions to prevent something like that from happening again.
Plus the majority of relics are not claimed to be authentic.

please do not exactly, fully associate christianity or christian faith with the figure of pope john paul ii. as you may have learned, the roman catholic church is not the fullest figure of what christianity is. and the protestants in argument with the catholic is not at all something to feel bad about the christian faith. you know, you believe God and all of His will, disregarding what Man/ People has established as a way of keeping the faith, that is, the religion. have i confused you?

what does anything you're saying have to do with genuine christianity, which is following the teachings of Jesus Christ, and not some guys running a building - whether it's a church, a temple or a mosque?

why is it that it has to be this religion or that religion? Religion is of man and therefore corrupt. If you desire to "win" people to your faith, live the lifestyle that would lead others to seek it for themselves also.

You can really see it very very clearly when an ignorant person say something and still believe he is right.
