What if your belief is wrong? What will you say to Christ almighty on judgement day? How will you feell about eternity where you have choosen? I'm not trying to be rude either. Think about it before you answer. Do you simply choose not to believe? Have you actually researched to find out information to support your beliefs? Have you researched to find out what a Christian truly believes and why? Is your eternity, if you are wrong, rally not worth it?

What mandate did the Vatican use to come up with Baptism as an infant and Confirmation at 16 years? The only instance of baptism in scripture is Jesus getting baptized at age 30. Shouldn't we be following His example?

My apartment is haunted. One night my friend and I lit a cigarette and we swore we smelled marijuana after lighting that ciggy. We thought maybe it was the ghost. You think it's possible you can do drugs even in the afterlife?

Our pastor did a sermon on the book of daniel today, as he does quite often, and I was thinking, don't you think that would be so hard to stand up to nebudchadnezzar when he said to worship him or be put into a furnace? They really had to have been so faithful to God, it's really inspirational I think. Do you think it would be easy to do what they did?

Moses taught his followers God's Name. He told them to call on it and to use it. Moses taught that this Name is God's forever. It is an important Name. "allah" is the English eqivalent ofthe word "god". That is not a name but a word to describe what the supreme being is in relation to His creation. He revealed what His Name is to Moses. Each prophet of God after Moses used the Name of God and taught it to their followers. Yet Muhammad does not mention it. Why?

Why don't you spend some time researching the bloodshed and havoc caused in the name of Jesus Christ? Did you ever read about the inquisition? Massive death and torture of Muslims and Jews commited in the name of Christ. The Christians went about systematically destroying the remains of a great Muslim civilization, That is,of course after extracting most of the remaining riches, wisdom and knowledge left behind by the defeated.
A glorious history of Christian savagery.

There is a large known void/cave at Ein-gedi, Israel, along side the Dead Sea, but it is still sealed to this day. Why? Do you know how many artifacts, along with the Dead Sea Scrolls, where found by the Dead Sea? Lots. Surely there are many interesting things in this hidden cave, right? Why not open cave? It seems to me that a sense of humour is not one of the more outstanding personality trait of gods from any religion, even though it is a cherished human trait. Someone should really start a religion based on having a sense of humour.

Just wondering since it seems to be an obligation for most Christians to witness and lead others to Jesus Christ to accept him as our lord and savor. Romans chapter 9 can really make one start to wonder what's the point.

Lord, we glorify your name. In our lives that You created, you have blessed us with good things, but I know that these are going to fade away. Christ your Son has delivered us from our sins, and so we now have inheritance with You on high. Give us the truth only with the Holy Ghost, and let us all recognise you as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Give your children the words to say and the hearts to follow you wherever, even through the end of our lives. Let me be instruments to share your word with the world, and let I pray that you would put power in our actions so that others can turn to you, and live forever.
In the name of Christ, Amen

It would seem that one potential method of determining the validity of a religion is to look at the behavior of it's adherents.

Yet it seems that Christians behave no better than people of other faiths or those of no faith.

(In fact, asside from my 35 years in the US, I lived for over two years in a Hindu/Buddhist/Muslim/anamistic country. Of those groups, the Buddhists seemed to be the most tolerant, peaceful people.)

I realize this is not the only method, but it is one. I also realize that the point of Christianity is the idea of the eternal soul and realizing the divinity of Christ. It just seems that if Christianity was THE true religion, it's followers would be at least a little better people than those who follow false faiths or something else.

What do you think?
