Incorrect. Allah is the Arabic name in the Qur'an and that is God's supreme title. That is His name, taught to us through Muhammad's revelation of the Qur'an, which is the exact word of God. God also has 99 other names that He told us that are qualities of Him. So, while Jesus and Moses may have told us the name of God, through Muhammad we know 100 names for God. So, your question needs to be rephrased the other way. ---> Why did God give us 100 names of Him through Muhammad, but not through Jesus and Moses?

YHWH is the abbreviation of his name. It is so Holy no one knows, but scripture says he Will reveal it on a white stone in Revelations.
There are many names for God describing his name such as Elohim. The only real name is I AM. He named his people by his name "Israel". His Son would be called Immanuel "God with us" Yehshua was Jesus name, meaning "God's Savior". I AM THAT I AM. Jesus said I AM. Good enough for me. I AM Bless you.
Many Muslims believe they are children of Abraham and Hagar.
Remember this. that Ishmael and Hagar his mother never knew Moses or the Law. Ishmael, Abrahams first born from Hagar the bond woman was sent away. Israel was born from Isaac's son Jacob and to Israel was the promise of God. God said to Abraham, Ishmael would become a great nation also, but his inheritance would not be with Israel. Be careful when judging someone who may have been sent away for his own good. He never made a vow to the Law, only Israel did, so only Israel would need redemption from the Law. Biblically, legally.

In arabic its Allah which came from the hebrew word Eloh or Elohim. You are dead wrong Mose spoke hebrew and Egyptian and he taught them to say Yahuwa/Elohim or Ra not God. God is the german word for good! Check it out don't believe me. Where do you think Amen came from Amon Ra, Amen Ra,do some research. NEXT!!

Islam was NEVER true worship, so it is unsurprising that they do not use an accurate personal name of God. The Scriptures encourage us to use God's personal name.
The Hebrew name “Yahweh” (or “Yehowah”) seems to accurately pronounce the divine name. Just as the Hebrew name “Yeshua” (or “Yehoshua”) is translated into “Jesus” in English, the Hebrew name “Yahweh” is translated into “Jehovah” in English.
The important thing is to use God’s personal name in whatever language you speak, rather than insisting upon the impersonal! The name “Yahweh” is certainly preferable to the non-name “God” or “Lord”. If you speak English, feel free to use the name "Jehovah".
(Psalms 83:18) That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth
(John 17:26) [Jesus said] I have made your name known to them and will make it known, in order that the love with which you loved me may be in them

A little background on Muhammad might help you a bit.
He married a woman quite a bit older than himself. When he had his "visions" he was not convinced that they came from GOD.
His wife convinced him that they were, (your first big clue)
Once convinced by his wife that his visions were truely from GOD, he allowed her to interpret these visions for him.
You can tell that he did believe that our GOD was his GOD in the beginning of the koran, because he urges his readers to read the first few books of the bible.
Where they begin to differ and Muhammad changes the bible is that he states that we have it right up until the sacrifice of Issaac on the mountain. Muhammad changed that act of sacrifise to be Ishmael instead. THus making Muhammads ansestry the chosen people instead of Issaac's.
As time went on, and you can tell by later writings in the koran, Muhammad clearly strays further and further from our true GOD and eventually ends up clearly stating that we have separate GODS.
An interesting side note, in the koran, at Muhammads death, he speaks of hoping that allah will accept him. How sad, when belief in our GOD allows us to know we are accepted as soon as we accept him.

God's name might not be "Allah", but it isn't "God" either. It is also a word that describes a supreme being. Maybe they know it, but don't use it out of respect. Many people refer to him as "God", including yourself, so why can't Muslims?

He basically uses the same word that Jesus used to refer to God, that's why. Arabic is an offshoot of Aramaic. the languages are so similar that Arab-speakers understand much of it. The Aramaic (Jesus's language) and Arabic words for God are almost identical
We who use the word God have strayed from the original

Why is everyone so obsessed with the name? This is such human pettiness.
God or the formless, genderless eternal energy source which is the process of life, doesn't care. You might just as well call her Rose, after all, a rose by any other name is just as sweet...
