why would a minister leave people on the church roll even when they have been gone for 10-15 year's and many have told him they have moved their member ship?

"The Bible says so" or "the teachings of Jesus" are not what I'm looking for. I am interested in *your* opinion only. I am trying to find out if people honestly make their own moral choices.

On the contrary. Now, I'm a creationist (Muslim), and I'll stay a creationist BUT let's put that aside now. Other than creation and the THEROY of evolution, were any other explinations presented to tell us : Why are we here? or : How did we get into here? Anything, : From other religions and beliefs, science..etc

I've accepted God as my true savior. But I was wondering if you have to be babtized as in with the water and all.
I know it symbolizes a clean slate, and it's not that I don't want to be babtized, it's just I'm not a real active member of a church, and I would just find it weird to jump in there and get babtized within my first month there.

Revelation says that the people of God in heaven will be clothed in white and they will have crowns of glory on their heads. Is this symbolic of the righteousness of Christ or actual physical clothes?

Read this then I ask you again...is Islam a peaceful religion? Can you honestly say that?

One historical event that is often overlooked but that is very significant when trying to understand the Middle East is the original Jihad by which Islam conquered Israel from the Romans. Israeli oppression of Muslims clearly was not the cause of that Jihad because it took place when the Israelis were being oppressed by the Romans and the Muslims had not yet established a presence there. That Jihad was caused by the commandment to spread Islam throughout the world. The late Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini explained in 1980 that:

"Our struggle is not about land or water, It is about bringing, by force if necessary, the whole of mankind onto the right path."

I'm 16 and a Christian and I want to hear if there are actually sound religious reasons for treating homosexuals as blasphemous. I'm not gay but it's appalling to see the hatred there is out there for gay people, especially by Christians. First of all, I think homosexuality is not a choice. It's something you're born with and you can't help it. There have been gay persons who have tried to be heterosexual, but it couldn't work - can you still call it a choice then? So how then can God hate someone for being born that way - that doesn't sound like God to me. The father at my school explained to me that homosexuality is not a sin, it is homosexual genital acts that are sinful. So as long as homosexuals do not have sexual relationships, wouldn't God still love them? And shouldn't everyone stop hating them and treating them like abominations for the simple fact that they're gay.

Gen 1:26 "And God said 'Let us make man in our image, after our likeness"

I can understand how some people might misconstrue the word image. It has many meanings.

But the word likeness has but a few: Copy...Portrait...Appearance...Semblance

The people who claim that we don't look like God, must think that God cannot communicate with us using clear language.

Why does God need anyone else to translate what He has so clearly communicated to us?

What make you so much smarter than God, that you have to take His words, and creat your own definition?

Rev 22:18 says "If any man shall add unto these things, God shal add unto him the plagues that are written in this book".

Every time someone says "But that is not what God meant", then they are adding their own thoughts and conceptions to the verses. And that is wrong.

I was just told that Jehovah Witnesses don't celebrate any holidays. In fact they think Fathers day and Mothers day is a day created by Satan. So are birthdays. So, if these pagan days like New Years and Christmas are so evil, shouldn't you give the money back? Isn't Satan paying your wage? And don't tell me you give it to the church. God doesn't want "evil" money.

Christ taught peace, love unity, & respect, & in a very charismatic way. but yet so many people of the Christian faith don't always act this way. so i wonder, in the examples set by it's followers, which religion (christian & non-christian) shows the most love, like Christ did?

Regading religion, any religion, I don't think there are disrepectful questions. I think that followers of any religion just say "DO NOT QUESTION MY AUTHORITY!"
If followers of religion, any religion, say that their god or gods, are very powerfu, how come that a follower needs to defend their god, gods or their religion and threaten or harm the questioner? Isn't their god, gods above of so called 'disrespectful questions?'

If you cannot describe the character of the god that you believe does not exist, then you cannot say that it does not exist because god could merely stand for a great warrior or mother nature. Please explain in fair amount of detail what god you believe does not exists since I did not get the answers I was looking for in my last question.
