Islam we honor Jesus (pbah) as a prophet. If more would read a translation of the Quran they would find that we are not that different.

it cant be non-christian, thats something u got wrong there. u have to recieve Christ as your savior to become a faithful christian, even if your the most holiest person, or the best do gooder out there. I am a baptist, and i know there are baptists who still sin, and will get punishedfor it.
but in our church, not religion, we fully practice what Jesus first taught, and i think thats the most right religion, is when u fully give to Christs understanding and not turn the Bible around so that your conscience is sound.
hope this makes a little sense to you and opens a new light unto your path, May the Lord bless you and keep you now and always
great Question.

You are right. It is sad to say that many professed Christians do not practice what the Bible teaches. Many do not know what the Bible really says. Did you know that God detests idolatory? What is idolatory? The worship or veneration of an image or graven image. Then ask yourself what is the cross/crucifix if not a graven image?
Religion cannot be "Christ-like". Only people can be Christ-like. They cannot be "Christ-like" though if they are idolators. Ever studied with Jehovah's Witnesses? If you are interested in knowing about truth which is God-made rather than knowing about religion which is man-made, give it a try.

Some Christians aren't really Christians. They look like Christians and go to church, but they are not bound by the laws of the Bible and go through with their sinful lives for the rest of the week. True Christians are kind and would never act in a irresponsible way.

First you have to understand that the public school system took christian religion out of school and replaced with anthoer religion called humanism (evolution). Kids grow up being taught evolution as fact, people then add millions of years to the bible, which then adds death, diesease and suffering before Sin. A church that teaches bible as accurate and without error. Jesus Christ own treatment of Genesis settles it. Jesus made it clear that he believed everything in the old testament.

To be Christ-like, the religion must be based on the teachings of Christ, so I say Christianity.

I would say, it's the person or people, not the actual named religion, who act correctely toward others. I have seen this in temples, which do not directly speak of christ, but more about god, no judgement is passes upon anyone, their main goal is to bring peole together and restore kindness in people.

When I read about the life of Jesus in Matthiew, Mark, Lucas and John epistles, I tried not to read from the point of view of catholics, protestans, mormons etc. etc. etc. and I did understand that there was a man (only a man or a deity - doesn't matters to me) who wanted a better life on this Earth by pointing also at something after-life. The life didn't get better on Earth after he died, but religions prospered.

Look at the actions of the followers of the different faiths to see which ones most parallel the teachings of Jesus.
It's Buddhism. Jesus's enlightened words just paralleled Buddha's, who said them all first. He was the true "Prince of Peace".
