It doesn't feel like it but you are so richly blessed - You are a gem that he placed so much love and compassion inside of you that you might be able to handle all that he knew was coming your way - When all hope is gone look to him for your strength and he will help you to go on just a little bit further - your labor is not in vain neither will it go unrewarded and to answer you question we are all on borrowed time - God lent it to us - I am going to say a prayer for you right now that God will give you the strength to endure - Also want to give you scripture to encourage you - Jeremiah 29:11

Phillipians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Matthew 25:40 I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.
I will keep you in my prayers, asking that God continue to be with you and show you his will for you.
Phillipians 3:14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

I realize you are under a lot of pressure; but remember God never gives you more than you can handle. It may seem that way at times, but remember you are not alone. God is with you always and if you believe in Him and His Son you will have a greater reward awaiting you; and the eternity in heaven will make this time on earth seem like but a second. You are in my prayers.

I think what you’re doing is good. In Matthew, Chapter 5, Jesus said, “blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven". I feel the same way you felt when I was taking care of my family but we all have to try to keep our head up and hope that thing will get better. I will surly keep you in my prayer… :)

I have gone through this too. One of my family members had kidney failure and lung cancer and he died a few months ago. It was hard times but God brought me through it because at my family member's deathbed, he converted to Christianity and accepted Christ. Although he is dead, I know that I'll see him one day and know that he is with the Lord. Keep praying and never give up hope or God. Miracles can happen. : )

unfortunately you are not alone--just at my workplace in the last year there have been at least 3 people caring for 2 or more individuals with little or not help--the bright spot may be, they have made it through, and you will find the strength to do this also. Please remember to seek moments for yourself, be open to assistance, this doesn't make you weak or selfish, it makes you caring and smart.
Add a prayer from me.

Ashard as it is to be the caretaker, just remember its all that much harder to be the sick person.
Your question is very deep. It made me think of this verse:
"By the time. Verily! Man is in loss, except those who believe and do righteous good deeds, and recommend one another to the truth, and recommend one another to patience."

So you pray to god to bring you through your trouble, but you don't blame him for making your life hell for no good reason? Why on earth do you think he would reduce your suffering when he's the one responsible for it?
People sure are funny creatures.

Its very, very sad, but you will make it through this. Have faith in yourself, give yourself a little time here and there to just be yourself. You are a strong person and you will go on. In time, while there may be sad memories, there will also be new lovely memories that will be created.
