(warning: papist answer imminent) I would say that basically, you know of your sinfulness through your conscience. Assuming that your conscience is not deficient (either by scrupulosity wherein you percieve non-sins to be sinful or laxity wherein you perceive sins to be not sinful) you will feel conviction, or a guilty feeling. However, while we may feel indignant when confronted with injustices against ourselves and even others, we cannot say that the act is a sin. It is presumption to think that we may know the inner workings of a person's soul, or all the factors that may mitigate or aggravate the moral culpability of an individual. We can know, through various means, what specific actions can be classified as sinful. If a person outwardly shows signs of committing these actions, we may still in charity alert him of our concern. However determining sinfulness as it relates to "final destination", I think, is for a higher power.

I know the sins that I make and I try everything I can to change. People know their sins they just act like they don't so they decide to stick their nose up at everybody else.

I know my sins and ask for forgiveness. I also ask that God would point out to me those I do not notice as sins of myself so that I may change and be cleansed.

I know my sins & practice them religously!
Although "I'm looking for an original sin, all the old ones have been done in..."
I don't much worry about other people's sins - I figure that's between them & their god.

I know my sins. ANd I have to say I am quite ashamed of them. But Christ has forgiven me--and He can forgive anyone!

I know my sins. At least I think I know most of them.
I pray and work to improve myself.

We all are sinners.
Mat 7:3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
Mat 7:4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
Mat 7:5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

Are you a liberal, and gay? Don't you have a tree that is in need of a hug? Stop trying to piss people off because your life sucks. Get a life.
