I've just noticed that some women (Christian assumed by their religious answers and question) had some pretty hot pictures of themselves on here. I thought in the Christian religion women weren't suppose to tempt men sexually?

As for the hag remark ... don't be dumb! A woman doesn't have to pose in a suggestive manner and wear sexy clothes to appear simply attractive, even beautiful. A woman knows (or should know) when she's sending out a sexual message. These pictures are definitely questionable poses. Many women are pretty. I think we all know a sexy picture when we see one.

I am always so amazed at how much is assumed by people. Now how can anyone assume I'm sexually repressed by the question I asked? That is weird to me. I'm not a Christian but if I were I would follow its teachings. I mean what's the point of being in a religion if you break the rules?

I know now the deal with you and there is an abyss between our understanding of spirituality that is so vast there is no need it can never be bridged. No need to pay any more attention to each other.

If you're talking about pretty faces - nothing wrong with that (unless they are wearing make up like a prostitute).

If you're talking about showing off their Bodies - YES I AGREE WITH YOU! Women are not supposed to tempt men.

I've seen a few supposed Christians with sexy user names as well. It shows where their minds are at - on Sex, not Christ or living as a witness for Jesus.

Your right, however, I've never seen a picture of a proclaimed Christian woman that is unacceptable. If your just pretty, not to sound rude, but there is nothing you can do about that. If you posing in some questionable poses, than yes, there is a problem with that. Remember, that God will meet you where you are and convict everyone at different points in their lives. Just pray from them. :)

Because they're obviously distracted from Christ. You are right, woman are NOT supposed to tempt men sexually; in fact they are supposed to help us. Remember that not everyone who calls themselves "christian" is a Christian. Also remember that Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned, and come hsort of the glory of God." Even if they are saved, they will still struggle with sin.

I believe like you and I praise you for respecting a woman and her body and holding your own in this regard in a very sexually immoral time as we are in. I just wanted to let you know, with all the opposition you might get, you are not alone in your thinking.

Actually, I find it quite reassuring that a man actually feels like you. I am getting tired of running into all these men who think there is nothing wrong with looking at pornography and think women should show off their bodies because it is an asset and "if you've got it, flaunt it".

Women don't need to repress our sexuality. It's a natural state of being the way God made us.

It's mankinds' repression of sexuality as dirty or sinful that makes sexuality a bad perception. It's the reason that there are sex crimes, throughout history and today.

We don't need to hide our light under a bushel, or a sackcloth for that matter. The onus does not have to be on women to not tempt men, but for men to have control over themselves. Men should be responsible for their own behaviour.

I feel sorry for people who are afraid of sexuality. Get some counselling and get over it.

Christianity has absolutely nothing to do with how one dresses. Attractive women are just that - attractive women. If you find yourself sexually tempted by some of the photos on Yahoo Q/A, perhaps you are too easily tempted.

I just heard a stone whizz by my head! I did a little research, and find that 7 of your first 8 (and only) questions are about sex. Don't hide behind your avatar, it's transparent.

I can't wait till the points leader in the Society and Culture Category reads your question. Her picture is...great!

Just remember, people in glass houses, shouldn't through stones.

As you should know, not all Christians share the same values or beliefs. The term "Christian" is used to describe someone who believes that Jesus Christ is the son of God. That can be someone who goes to church faithfully and reads the bible, or someone who goes to the bar faithfully and reads TV Guide.

I don't know why they do what they do, but I don't have to answer for them, just myself.
