People do change their minds. Or they may not have realized how hard it actually was carrying that box of coke around the store.

So that they can get a parking spot up close?
They hold up a line behind them and people get so mad and try to go around everyone else.
So, you have to walk a few more steps.
With the majority of the society being so overweight, wouldn't it make sense to walk just a wee bit more for exercise?
I don't get mad, just wondering as to why it is so important to some people to be so close. Of course this does not apply to handicap people or disabled.

and you have to look around to see that noone is seeing you and then you unload it quickly (and it seems like you had to find the one with merchandise from every fricken department) then you load your own merchandise unto it? Wouldn't it be nice if they had carts availbe in other places of the store other than the front door in case people changed their minds?????

some say that men should treat their women like helpless babies who are incapable of supporting themselves.that they are doomed to failure if a man isnt in their lives.then there are the hypocrites;if a woman can stay at home to raise their child, its ok.should a man want to be a stay at home DAD,hes looked at as a slob and a no good slacker.what gives ?

also, women want equality....or do they ? from my personal experience, for every 10 times i willingly paying for something or initiate an activity,my gf will have 1.

for guys who take the ''chivalry is the way of the man'' stance, ive yet to meet a woman incapable of opening a door. in the movie '' A Bronx Tale'' chaz palmetieri offered this bit of advice...''be a gentleman and let your date in the car first.as you walk around to let yourself in,if she hasnt got the common courtesy of unlocking your door, dump her then and there.''

on the surface, that may seem barbaric but in theory, its fair.are men truly walking talking wallets ?

We have caller I.D. at work. So, when folks call, I usually know who they are and what they want before I pick up the phone.

Is it weird to pick up the phone and say, "Hi, Mr. Smith, I have everything ready for you..."

I just think it's a waste of time to do the required greeting, wait for them to identify themselves and what they want when I already know.
It also feels a little dishonest, like I'm lying or something.

Is that weird?
How do you handle it?

We are not sure what to give as a gift because of her weird invitation.....We are being asked to pay 75$ each for the dinner (that includes two glasses of wine each)....ive never heard of asking your invitees to pay for their own meal...so what would be an appropriate gift?

Today at the store the big fat woman ahead of me had a ton of groceries. And of course she waited till every last item had been scanned before starting to dig for money.

She slowly pulled out a checkbook, rearranged a few loose reciepts, took her time finding a pen and very slooooowly wrote out her check, all the while leaning on the podium and huffing and puffing. When she was done paying, she took her cart and advanced a whole 6 inches while she rearranged her pocketbook, not moving enough for me to move up and pay.

GRRR!!! I just wanted to scream at her! Is there anything at all that would have been appropriate to say to get her to move faster?

The secretary keeps bread and peanut butter in the cupboards for us (in case we can't get away for lunch) but she always buys the bad stuff full of hydrogenated oils and extra sugar and salt. I like the 100% natural stuff better. Should I say something?

I mean why do people play their music full volume on trains and buses when they can use earphones? It's so rude and means we can't listen to our own music in peace! What do you all think?

Every year for four years, she's given me extra time off to participate in our local arts festival, even though it's still a busy time of the season. It really goes against my personality to "suck up" in a fake way, and I'm not usually into card giving that much, but I feel she deserves some sort of thanks besides me just saying it. What should I do?

I work Technical Support for a large telecommunications company. Part of my job involves me verifying who I am speaking to so that I do not release customers private information. That being said WHY would somone who is not the account holder call up, state they are the account holder when they are not and proceed to get upset when they cannot verify they are who they are pretending to be only to at the last moment admit they they are not the actual person. WHY? I've had grandsons say they are their grandmothers, I've had daughters say they are their father and each one has been upset when I've told them I can't help them. What do they expect? Oh sure your names Aaron A Aaronson...ok your needing your Bank Account Pin code changed...sure I'll do that for you right now. Verification? No we don't need that we'll take your word for it! Hmmmm..in a perfect world maybe.

The reason I'm asking this, is I have heard a few black radio hosts here in my city make "white" jokes and everyone laughs at it, and accepts it as humor. But if one of our White or Latino radio host's said the same joke, but changed the races around to where it was a "black" joke, then the radio station would be slapped with a racism lawsuit.

Please explain to me, why is it acceptable for one group to do something, but not for another?

Or maybe stick a spit through his mouth, puncturing out his tail, and roast him over burning coals? The point I am making: isn't it WAY PAST TIME for those aggravating Ad Agency folks representing Geico to exterminate that little reptilian spokeslizard? AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE CAVEMAN WITH THE PARANOID-PERSECUTION COMPLEX. I wish they would get at Geico that I will never, never, never, never, never, never, never, NEVER consider purchasing their insurance as long as they continue to bombard me with their ASININE ADS PLAUGING EVER MEDIA VEHICLE NONSTOP. Anybody agree?

What I am talking about everyone has seen before. Those really loud disturbing children who consistently scream for no reason or to get what they want and its always at the top of their lungs. I live in an apartment beneath 2 of these children, apartment manager wont do anything. I dont think i should be able to hear these 2 children having a conversation while they are upstairs and im in my own apartment tryin to enjoy a meal or movie. They also run up and down the stairs all day long playing i suppose but rather annoying. I've even spoken to the parents and they say they pay rent so they can be as loud as they want. Well now ive had it, all of our pictures we had on the wall are actually falling off due to all the vibrations these 2 children cause. What should my next step be with dealing with this situation since the apartment manager wont deal with it and wont return my calls until at least a week later. The police wont do anything until they actually see it happening. What to do

why are some guys malign their girlfriend like calling them names, telling them how ugly they were , that they don't look good on this. etc.
my boyfriend for instance, he always boast around, if he gets his chance to tell me how such a hot chick his buddy's girlfriend is. why would he do that? he very well know that he will hurt my feelings.. making me feel down and depressed and ugly.
if he's not satisfy with me he can let go of me anytime, and sometimes if i initiate the break up he also won't let me go..
then why does he do that?

my boyfriend's friends doesn't like me, everytime we go to his friend's house or his friends has parties, i feel really awkward and out of place.. they don't like me, even my boyfriend told me so.. they don't talk to me, they keep quiet when i'm near..
they are mostly boys so how could they act in such manner that only girls do.. i just can't believe it.
i feel really sad though, i'm trying my best to reach out like talk to them, joking around them..but everytime i start a conversation they're trying to avoid me.. they walk away.. they don't like me for my boyfriend.. may be because i don't drink and i don't have that "one of the boys" attitude that my boyfriend's ex- girlfriends are . but still, i can manage to talk and joke around them even if i don't sit down and drink with them..but too bad they judge me just like that.. they are so mean.

I have a friend at work that is real cool. I had an open position in my department and I recommended her. Well she sit right next to me now.

She slurps on her coffee and other drinks all day. She is so loud that my manager closes his door. Also the people in the other department are happy she is gone. In addition she eats candy and smacks her lips. OMG!!!

I want to say something, but I don't know how. She is driving me bananas. My manager makes fun of the situtation every morning. It was funny at first, but not anymore. HELP
