I have to ask this because I've seen on many occasions that when someone is biting their nails, I seldom see them spit them out. So, they must be swallowing them. What are some of your responses to this?

When a person asked you to say 'Hi' , 'Goodbye' or 'thank you' for them to someone close to you (eg. your mum, partner etc), do you really do that or it depends?

For instance, when you are leaving your friend's birthday party, your friend says,"thank you for coming, and say thank you for me to your mum for her gift." Will you do that? if yes, how? if you want to do that, but have you ever forgotten?

I'm a waitress at a chain restaurant. Last evening I waited on a table with a male in his mid-thirties, a 16 yr old., and 2 toddlers -I'm guessing ages 5 and 2. The young lady announced that she would like a glass of merlot with her spaghetti. Stunned, I gave her the once over and her youthful features led me to believe she was younger than 21. I asked for her id, and she handed me a picture id and marriage certificate with the gentlemans name as her husband. "She's my wife. Can you get the wine for her?" I did, but I was so disgusted by this man that I hardly waited on them afterwards. They later complained of bad service which I don't deny. But seriously, where do we draw the line? Am I really in the wrong?

I was invited to a social event with friends from work. I recently learned that this would actually be a dinner party. Usually when we get together after hours we will eat out or chip in on the meal to some degree whether its pizza or full blown catering. However, a few women from work are hosting this party and I was not asked to contribute anything.

I feel somewhat obligated to bring something even though they have already planned the menu. I would feel very akward showing up empty handed so any advice would be greatly appriciated.

I live in a condo, owned not rented. My neighbor is 70 something. He's hard of hearing yet loves to yell profanities at his tv at any given moment. I've called the cops who say its my property manager's problem, and in turn he tells me he has to have so many reports on file with the police before he has a leg to stand to to confront the neighbor. Keep in mind, I have a puppy and yes, when we leave she whines for about 10 mins, but calms down. The neighbor is using that as his "fire" against us. What can we do? I'm not moving, my condo is paid for, and he rents. Am I wrong for the confrontation? I shouldn't have to hear his profanity while in my own home. Give me your feedback.

I've noticed that there are many girls at my school that wear thongs, Ive noticed this because everytime i go inside the cafeteria i cant help to notice thongs sticking out of the girls pants and also in my classes. If i were to get a dollar for every thong i see ill be rich. Does this mean that this new generation of girls are really slutty. Because I have been told by my male friends that you can point out if a girl is a slutty if they wear a thong to school. Additionally does different types of thong make girls even sluttier cuz there are some girls that even go as far as wearing does STRINGY STRINGY Stringy thongs. Additonally my ex girlfriend was obsessed with thongs that was all she wore and one of the many reasons that we broke up was because we use to go together to eat inside the school cafeteria and her thong use to be out all the time, and boys use to take pictures of it with their cellphone cameras and that got me really mad.
