Is it offensive to ask somebody that you've known for a while what political party they support? I'm talking about in a casual situation, not a job interview or something like that. Obviously it depends on the individual but in general is politics a sensitive/personal issue? I've always just assumed it was ok to talk about. Is it as complicated as asking about somebody's religious background? Or is that less personal. It's a minefield! Please discuss as I'm very confused!

I work in a capital city and when I drive home, anywhere between 5 & 6.30 at night, the traffic is just horrible. I let other drivers in when they indicate a change of lanes and do I get a "thank you" wave? No. If you don't let them in they'll just push their way in anyway. I work in retail and people are just so rude and demanding. I know a lot of people are "in a rush". But why is their lack of planning my fault? I may just work in a shop but I too deserve simple courtesy and respect. I am always friendly and as helpful as possible but rarely do I get a thank you. What has happened to the world? Why are manners so rare?

Ok I got pretty drunk last night and my memory blacked out..the last thing I remembered was I was at this bar last night and thats it. My brother said I didn't do anything inappropriate to a girl, and I trust that, but what are the odds that during my blackout, i went to the bathroom and some girl followed me in or went in there by mistake and we got it on, or that i walked in a girl restroom by accident and we got it on..i know this is a dumb question but i'm thinking the odds are slim to none..what do you think?

She is soooo GHETTO! She doesnt respect the teachers, she talks out loud and curses when there is no need. She has 2 cell phones and will answer in the middle of a lecture. She talks loudly about smoking weed and being drunk. She disrupts the class and makes fun of people. I want to tell the counselors or dean but I dont want to seem childish. I took out an 11,000.00 loan for this course. I really REALLY dont want her in any of my classes anymore. None of the other students like her either. I really dont know what to do. She is a disgrace to women, let alone BLACK women. There is NO EATING in the classroom, everydy she brings a bag of snacks and crunches and smacks during the whole class. Everytime I ask a question in class she huffs and puffs, but then she wants my notes, and asks me questions. What should I do?

A heartfelt apology for a minor wrongdoing (being moody) and no reply. Is it best to not apologize at all?

I live near NYC and I have noticed so many people Spit in public. Most if not all the culprits are in lower class neighborhoods. Has spiting in public become a fashion statement or is there something else going on?

was supposed to meet this guy for the first tikme today. He said that he had some stuff to do and that when he's done he'll call me. this talk happened at 11 am and it's now 9 05 pm and he never called or texted me! here's the rude part: he is online right now, got on like 5 min ago meaning he's at home and he never said hi! i had to ask this because i get offended by stuff like this all the time so i want to know if i'm overreacting or not? also if he does call me, cause he has a tendency to call me at 11 pm, say he does that and ask me to meet him tomorrow or even later on, i'm gooing to say no! is that wrong of me? should i give another chance??? honestly i thinkt hat what he did was so rude and i am so pissed!! even if he couldnt make it he could have called or txted!

I have a close friend whose clothes are just awful. For instance, the last time we went out she wore ratty, polyblend blazer that was too big over a white chiffony dress with knock off Uggs. The other day she wore ragged dickies, sneakers, and an acrylic sweater to her office job--a place where everyone else wears suits or twinsets. If she were just generally clueless, that'd be one thing, but she's really intentional about looking awful. She prizes her fashion sense and actually wants to be a designer. If you try to shop with her and steer her toward things that aren't horrible, she turns up her nose. She really is a cute, cute girl. What do you think?

I'm just one of those that needs my space and my coworkers always come up and lean on the back of my chair or hang on my shoulder while they talk to me as I'm sitting at my desk. One gal even SITS on the edge of my desk. I feel like I can't move or breath. Is this claustrophobic? I've always been this way, but I've never worked in a place where so many people are this touchy-feely. I don't want to be rude, so how do I let them know it bothers me? Thanks for the suggestions.

okay, so im just getting into the whole "dining out" thing. the thing that really confuses me is when your waiter/waitress brings you your check, how do you know theyre going to be back to get it and process it in the back somewhere, or you have to go up to a cashier yourself?

I see some women with their wedding and engagement rings, and some with only their wedding band. Is this just personal choice or is there a certain amount of time after which women stop wearing the engagement ring? FYI I have a traditional engagement ring with a solitaire and a plain, solid wedding band.

A friend has betrayed my trust, by breaching my confidentiality. I am hurt and angry. However, they have apologized via email, so I feel like I should be the "bigger person" and accept the apology. I don't know how to word it. Should I say "thank you for your apology" or "I accept your apology" and leave it at that? Or should I add that I am angry, don't trust them any longer? I'm not sure what to do as I don't really want to talk to this person anymore, but I don't want to appear spiteful either.

It`s my husband`a turn, however, my hubby is to cheap to buy them lunch, he wants me to cook it for him, ( chili). I`m too tired and sick to cook this week, but my hubby promised them chili, what should I do?

On a scale of 1-10, 1 being no big deal at all, and 10 being weirdest you can ever imagine, please tell me how weird is to wear wife's underwear during emergencies?

I don't feel comfortable wearing my wife's underwear at all, but I have to (sneakily, ofcourse) because I feel more uncomfortable wearing no underwear at all. This happens only when I missed my laundry and have no underwears left. I pick only those underwear of her which are just plain white.

She actually caught me one time (of only three time I have done so far) and I felt pretty uncomfortable with the situation. Has anyone done this before? Rate it on a scale of 1-10. Thanks
