Basic quick tie:
take a 12' rope 1/4" thick, fold it double in the middle, this is called a lark's head. Make a loop by pushing the two ends through the lark. Put the loop around the wrists, wrap the double rope a few times around the wrists. Pull the ends through the lark's head again, and wrap them in separate directions between the wrists. This cinches the rope and creates rope handcuffs. Knot off on the upside away from the hands. With some practice you can do this in 30 seconds.
Chair tie:
Apply the quick tie to wrists, above elbows, ankles and above knees. Connect ankles and wrists with another rope. Finally use one or two ropes to attach the person to the chair. Don't forget to cinch these ropes as well, to take out slack and to make the knots away from the probing fingers.
Don't forget the gag!

Fastest? or fastes and most secure? If you tie someone up too quickly you run the risk of them getting free. Tying their arms to the arms of a chair is quick, but you do have to tie 2 arms that way. If you tie them behind their back its only one tie, but its more difficult. Is this person cooperative? If so why the speed? Add as many ropes as you can to keep them still. Sionainn, you seriously need to call me, you seem to be a bondager with some skills you need to practice and I am definately volunteering!!!!

Start with their hands behind them. Then pull legs back and make a figure eight slip knot johnny noose between them. Once you have this done you only have to tie up the torso. Generally speaking, the more rope the faster you can just mummy wrap them after this.
Of course this is completey fabricated. Housewives are allowed to have active imaginations.....

Office chairs with arms are the best because you can bind their arms in a fairly comfortable position and still be able to roll them around.
If you have captured someone, and are not interested in their comfort, tie them up to a long piece of plywood.
