I am going to a wedding in...let's see..3.5 hours. THE INVITATION CAME IN A RED ENVELOPE. This is the weekend after V-Day. The wedding is at a plush "country club" inside a hotel. My dress is kimono style, mainly red, but with black and cream accents. My mom says that red says "homewrecker." Or that I am against the wedding. I say, IT'S THE ONLY DRESS THAT I HAVE THAT FITS! And it's a February wedding! What do you think?

So here's the story...we have a new assistant manager. He's around my age so I think he feels like he's better than me because he is an "assistant manager"..but that's besides the point. So it was a busy day, and i've been standing on my feet 7 hours straight. So 15 minutes before we closed I told him I wanted to sit cos I've been standing all day and my feet hurts. And he told me to buy better pair of shoes that is more comfortable. I told him to try to stand for 7 hours straight..he'd be complaining too. Then he said "I DONT GET PAID TO STAND ALL DAY". I thought that was very ignorant for him to say that. My coworkers think I should tell my Manager. But I dont want to be a snitch. I'm not that type of person to tell on somebody. Oh and by the way, my Manager talked to my Asst mgr about being cocky before...so this is nothing new. Sooo my question.. should I tell or not?

Yesterday in college class, I was my stupid stomach was growling aloud and obnoxiously. It was terrible because the entire class was trying to take a test and the entire room was super quiet. I of course HAAAAD to be at the front of the class, next to the guy I totally have a crush on. And every too seconds, my stomach sounded as if it were gurgling water. It was all "WAAAA WAAAA"" "COOOO COOOO COOO" "AWA AWA AWA AWA" It sounded totally retarded. I didn't know what to do to make it stop. Just when I thought it stopped and took a deep breath it started up for several minutes again, just growling. I felt fine, but it just sounds gross. I sucked in my stomach when Dwayne looked at me for a second. I smiled at him. He gave me a half smile like he was trying to concentrate and couldn't. I maneuvered in my chair to see if the way I was sitting might make it stop, and it kept doing it off and on throughout the entire test. I blushed throughout the entire class. Does this **** happen to u?

I went to that party and there was that guy, who announced loudly,
for all to hear, that I was "just tolerable" and not good looking
enough to dance with.
He is tall and good-looking himself, but what rights did he have to
be so rude to me?

I went to a wake last night.. our neighbors wife passed away. I went with another neighbor and his wife. After I signed the guestbook, he turned to me and said "Are you going to sign your sister/brother in laws names?' ( They chose not to go). I have never been asked to sign someone's name who wasn't there and it took me off guard. What is the proper guestbook etiquette...anyone know ??

Is it rude to decline/ refuse a red packet if the person giving it to you has never met you, is not a relative but is your friends mother? Are people offended when this happens? Cuz some people might feel weird taking red packets from pple then don't really know.

On Wednesday at 12am my sublet neighbour disappeared into the night. I will not miss her. Between violent visits from her ex-boyfriend, curious calls by the police and drunken friends hanging around in the afternoon she wasn't a great catch. Have you got a similar nightmare neighbour experience?

I mean partying out late with the world's most exposed, wild and rude woman Paris Hilton, having just divorced, again, and having two babies, what happened to the cute Dancing Diva? I guess she really did "Do Somethin'" about herself. Does she have no shame at all? I mean she showed off her privates in public, gets drunk, and parties late into the night. How could she??? I mean when her boys grow up who'd want to see their mom wearing no undies, and wearing way too daring clothes, and exposing her body too much, getting repeatedly divorced and being a mother she should be responsible. She's gone too far. And everyone should know by now, that whoever Paris hangs with ends up ruined, backstabbed and hurt. She's already ruined LinLo, what more if she ruins a single mother, who is needed by her children. Britney's really gone too far.

after a long series of such occurrences where a newcomer to the chat changes the subject and he and my previous interlocuter can apparently no longer hear me I have become weary of the effort of getting rid of them and ignoring them as it consumes a lot of energy-in fact, I am hesitant about forming any new relationships as it always comes to this
in the present situation both of them are car nuts and the newcomer will simply arrive without warning and change the subject to cars and both of them will leave the table to check the car without acknowledging me
whenever I discuss this with people they accuse me of wanting attention or being immature;I freely admit that I do tend to hog the centre of the conversation but I do listen.;and this is not a gay thing or even a group dynamics thing but has to be seen , I think, in the context of everyone having no manners anymore.Others have suggested that I should force myself into the conversation but they shout me down if I do.Well??????

We've been invited to a Chineses New Year Party tomorrow. I think I read somewhere once that you should wear something red for luck - but I can't find it again. I don't want us to all turn up wearing a red garment only to find we're insulting our hosts. Also, is there anything we should take with us to offer the hosts as a gift? It's in a restaurant so the food and drink is provided.

I was at a Lebanese restaurant and saw a belly dancer the first time. This beautiful belly dancer came up to me and took my hand wanting me to get up with her. I'm not a good dancer and didn't have any clue what I was supposed to do. So I just stayed in my chair and didn't get up. I was embarrassed but I really had no idea; what do you do?

Wouldn't it be nice if you could tell a woman she has nice breasts?

For example, in a conversation with a female, "The weather is nice today, by the way, nice breasts." Or "Can I get some directions to the mall, nice ****."

Is this another outdated "tradition" or in some way a discriminatory unspoken procedure? I see it on Job applications, loan applications, almost everything has you choose. Should women have only one distinction like Ms? ie: Mr. John Doe is married, Mr. John J. Doe is single. What is the "real" meaning of this all?
