She has often said mean stereotypes about other cultures and religions (which I do not wish to repeat) and it makes me feel uncomfortable when she says those things. She knows that I don't like it but she still says them in front of me anyway. How do I get her to stop?

why do people include things like "um" and "nevermind" in their Q&A's. unless it's to emphaises somthing(i'm talking about the cases where it's not), those words are usualy used to stall while you're figuring out how to word what you're saying or if you got off base. if you're typing on a computer, you have all the time in the world to think about what you're saying, if you want to change the way you've worded somthing, you can always backspace. i don't really care THAT much, not loosing sleep over it, i just think it's weird. why do people do that?

It has to be asked, a group of brothers, or a group of uneducated white mofo's. Who would win?

I am at work right now sitting at my desk, which is used by other people during the week, and there is a vial of airborne (the fizzy-drink, vitamin medicine), and I am thinking of taking one. The problem is that there is only one tablet left and I don;t know who's it is. The reason I want to take it is because 1. it tastes good, 2. im thirsty, and 3. im feeling a little sick. However, I don't want to make someone mad by taking their last airborne. I will be here for another 6 hours and I know that I will be thinking about that airborne the whole time. What should I do? Should I take the airborne?

everyone the person invited have known her for a bajillion years (okay, maybe not a bajillion, but since pre-school/elementary years) and i've just gotten to know her. I have no idea WHY she invited me in the first place, and I'm scared because I don't know any of her best friends and I feel like I might get left out...

(oh, and it's today, so I can't say I'm not going either)
*yes, i know i asked this question before, but i forgot to add a big detail so here i am again. i'm sorry.

I've been accused of tipping too much. But if the service is that good, then they have earned it as far as I am concerned. I know people who will leave 50 cents no matter how great the service was. How do you tip - big, small, or just right?

most times when i first meet someone i often as not prefer to nod my head to them rather than shake hands with them, as i am very aware that as i wash my hand both before and after using the restroom there are others that are not, as a female friend of mine discovered when out on a blind date, after the guy came back from the restroom he reached across the table to brush the hair out of her eyes, and she smelled urine on his fingers, and there was also a program a few years back called pub ammo where they tested a bowl of free peanuts left at end of night, and found traces of nicotine, urine, and faeces on them...so am i right or wrong not to wish to shakre strangers hand till i know them better, although i often tell them i have stiff fingers and don't shake hands

Recently,I've had to interact with a female at work for business. The nature of our business has us close together usually side by side behind a computer,or same at a conference table, its an office environment;I can't change that. She keeps sending out subtle pitches and then waits to see how I take it when we are together.Mind you :I keep my work life and my social life completely seperate. She's also a good 10 yrs older than me and i'm not sure whether she's married or not.
How do I put and end to her innuendo? I need her for what she knows and have been keeping it strictly business. This needs to be handled tactfully and with respect.

Like when you are telling someone something you feel is important and they maintain a fake interest, but obviously fake to the point that you know that they know you can see it? I hope I didn't lose you there. Anyway, this drives me nuts!

Questions like...my neighbor is threatening everyone with a shotgun. Should I call the police? My girlfriend sleeps with everyone/ Should I leave her? And on and on and on.........

I tried and tried and a little something passed through the first time silently and soon the room was full of aroma and everybody started coughing and looking at one other. The next time I could not conceal the sound and everybody gave me a funny look and one person said "At least it was'nt me", Someone else said "I wish people were more honest". So to clear the confusion the next time I had to do it I let go a loud one and someone else said "You can do it politely at least." Cant win, can ya? Whats the best way to F**T?

I have a friend that will lick the plate clean...no kidding..in public! He has also repeatedly asked for "samples" from other peoples dessert dishes..even after he has finished his own, and will also keep eating their desserts...(the good friends, are too polite to try and stop him!) he will also ask "Hey, are you going to eat the rest of that ?"(meaning the dessert dish, that they may be slowly eating!!!) What is going on with this fellow? Why is he like this? Why would anybody be like this? Did he miss a lesson, somewhere down the line...or is this deliberate?!?

I have been working in a sales internship for a few years now, and I am a student. My manager's son owns a house by the school. It's really nice for a college student. 5 bedrooms, two big screens, jaccuzi, bar, kegerator, you name it! It's really nice. OK here's the kicker, his son asked me if I wanted to live there and I would pay rent to live there. I said yes, not thinking this would be a bad decision, considering rent would be cheaper, and it was much nicer. So I have been living here almost two years now, and I think because his dad is my manager, and he is kind of like my landlord, I think he feels like he can manipulate me by asking me to do stuff for him all the time, like help him around the house with huge projects/ home improvements and such or helping him with his band like setting up or tearing down the stage and stuff. I don't know if he likes me as a friend and just wants me to be around him more and I'm just being too defensive or is he really a manipulating ah?
