He asked for my surname and i wouldnt give it to him and then said that the surname i knew him as isnt his real surname its his grandads account. is he a fake? as he is acting moody as i got at him for this

I trust few internet contacts. I over time they are consistent, then they are probably okay. This one sounds like he has something to hide. Maybe married, etc.

You should tell the truth his name is on his 360 and you are not telling the truth here you are hiding something. You say you are 23 When you look and act like 13. You are the one who is hiding your surname ans you are the one who is afraid to send a picture. You need to tell the true story not the story you want to think. He is not a stalker and he is who he says he is. You need to grow up and stop putting things in your mind that are not true.

I wouldn't trust him. The thing with the internet is that you can be whoever you want to be... I could tell you now that my name is Dave and I'm an accountant - that is a total lie, but how would anyone know? He might be a she, he might be eighty four years old or twelve, he could be anyone he wants to. I'm not saying don't talk to him anymore, but just be careful. You were right not to give him your surname ok, so carry on keeping your wits about you.

Hiya, Be Careful...... he most probably has told you a pack of lies, you can never trust someone that you dont really know. If i were you i would stop contacting him, if he is moody over being caught out for telling lies, goodness knows what else he would be moody over. Never give your personal details over the net, you did right not to tell him.

As there is no real harm done, I wouldn't class him as a fake. Just a very private person. Forgive him. This really isn't worth losing a pal over.

That's the down-side of chatting to people online - you never know who they really are. Be careful, if he has told you a lie about his name, he could also have lied about many other things. I wouldn't advise that you try to meet up with him, he sounds a bit dodgy to me.

well maybe he has given his real one and you aren't giving yours so incase of finding he has lied to you, big deal you aren't letting him have your so why should u worry if his is wrong until you both can trust each other you don't give out to personal details
