If the parking spot is to your left, you usually turn on your left blinker/turn signal and vice versa for the right. So what about in front of you?

I would like a full dose of obscenity hurled at me today, without it being reported as abuse to the boards.

I would prefer it in spanish, so roll your r's really hard, strengthen the accents, and extend the lisps. Other languanges are also welcome. Tagalog would be best!

Gracias, Salamat...and Putang Ina Nyo Din.

If the living room or the kitchen gets cleaned, I clean it. I finally got tired of cleaning up, and now dishes haven't been washed in two weeks (they're all his). He's left dirty plates sitting on the coffee table for a week before. He gets mad when I say something about the apartment being too cold and says something like, "Well, I live here too and I'm not going to be hot." He stays up all night and sleeps all day. I have class at 7:30 every morning, and he's waking me up at 3:00 a.m. Also, he is about to graduate and hasn't gotten into grad school and doesn't really care to get a job. So he's going to be sitting around all next year doing nothing but wasting space. Basically, he's CONVINCED that he is ALWAYS right. We live in a nice apartment, and I'd like to keep it that way.

There is one more year left on the lease, and if he doesn't leave, I am. Both of our names are one the lease, what can I do? I have one other roommate, and he's tired of his sh*t, too.

Sometimes I wonder if people are getting more rude, or if being polite still rules in a so called: "pc society".

is it rude to hand-deliver a thank you card for a wedding gift; and how long do you have to send out those thank you cards? I've heard you have 1 year.

I don't know if I should do anything now or not. I'm in a different place in my life now, and I would like those people to know that I appreciate their generousity.

I'm a budding shutterbug. I try to get in a photoshoot every weekend. People in natural situations can make for very interesting photos These photos are usually one time shots; posing or asking for permission would ruin a perfectly good shot. I get mixed responses for people, but would like to know is there a better why to get the pictures I'd like. should I remain in the shadows with a zoom lens or risk losing the shot by asking for permission?

Although I am not the most sociable person I know, I try to make an effort with my wife's family and friends.

HOWEVER, there is one "friend of the family" that I have not liked from the moment I met her, and never will. It's one of those things where it's "hate at first sight". My wife gets upset when I won't talk to the woman, and she says I'm constantly rude to her (which I am).

So, the question is: how does one learn to be at least civil around a person that makes thier skin crawl? I MUST find a way, because we keep having to ride to family functions together, and sometimes that means hours in the same vehicle together.

Please help. I'm not a bad person essentially, but I cannot do this without real help.

A colleague of mine, who I know only through work, not at all personally, mentioned that he'd invite me for a visit sometime in the summer and we could have a BBQ on his garden. I know he's just trying to be nice and it is a nice offer, but I'm really not comfortable with going there and I know that my husband won't even consider going if he gets invited there too. We're just not much into things like this, visiting people we hardly know at all and eating with them. I don't want my colleague to get insulted or anything, but I don't want to go. How can I politely turn down his offer if he asks me?

Last night at the local supermarket i patiently waited in the queue to pay for my goods. When it came to be my turn i was apalled with service i received. The aisan guy at the till
talked to his mate all the way through the exchange and didnt even acknowledge me. Not even a glance! The most annoying thing was that he was speaking in Urdu or something and when he tried to palm off the receipt i just felt like throwing it back in his face! My point? Rudeness is one thing but then ignorance on top of that makes my blood curdle. And to stand there and jabber away in Urdu whilst im waiting was too much. 'Was he talking about me?' I dont know! 'How do i know he was talking in Urdu?' The majority of asian shop workers in this counrty do and are pakastani as opposed to Hindi etc in my experinces anyway. These f***kers should learn some manners! Manner maketh man! I was livid! Anyone else had similar exeperieces? B4 you say it, i know a brit could do the same but at least i'd know the lingo!

The most affluent appearing people are the worst offenders. They tend to "talk down" to clerks, cashiers, etc..., they are rude and demanding and say inappropriate things like "you have nothing better to do". They don't even have the common sense to put down their cell phone long enough to speak with the person in front of them, then proceed to curse out the service member for ignoring them. Why is this? Do they not realize that without retail employees that they would be hungry and naked?
