i guess it would depend on how you see them. according to this link, they are quite the activists and want all gnomes to be free. apparently there are some rouge groups like the Gnome Liberation Front.

I doubt it, but the little Travelocity gnome is so cute. I loved the commercial where he said "Am I going to die?".

Well, that's a tuff one, gnomes are mythical creatures you can choose your own description,or get a dungeons/dragons mythical creatures manual choose the answer which you desire!
