Last night at the local supermarket i patiently waited in the queue to pay for my goods. When it came to be my turn i was apalled with service i received. The aisan guy at the till
talked to his mate all the way through the exchange and didnt even acknowledge me. Not even a glance! The most annoying thing was that he was speaking in Urdu or something and when he tried to palm off the receipt i just felt like throwing it back in his face! My point? Rudeness is one thing but then ignorance on top of that makes my blood curdle. And to stand there and jabber away in Urdu whilst im waiting was too much. 'Was he talking about me?' I dont know! 'How do i know he was talking in Urdu?' The majority of asian shop workers in this counrty do and are pakastani as opposed to Hindi etc in my experinces anyway. These f***kers should learn some manners! Manner maketh man! I was livid! Anyone else had similar exeperieces? B4 you say it, i know a brit could do the same but at least i'd know the lingo!

Oh my gosh, I so can identify with your experience, it's soooo rude the treatment that you received, and there is no explaination for it. I can not stand when the asians speak in any other than english when I am getting my nails or toes polished and they are laughing and talking loudly and you have no idea what they are saying, but at the end of the visit you still have to pay for this piss poor as rude service, I have removed myself from a number of situations like this. I refuse to pay you to be rude to me, this has to stop. I totally feel you on this. Good to know that someone else feels this way too.

Yes I have had that loads of times. Fortunately, it seems to have stopped from most of them now. I try to avoind foreigners in larger shops if I can, not because I am racist but because of the experiences I have had with Asians usually being as you described. If possible, I go to a 30-40 year old woman or a 20-30 yo man, they seem to be the better mannered and everything. I was thinking about learning some of the Asian languages as I thought it would be funny to know what they were talking about when they didn't realise. That actually happened once when I was listening to someone speaking Spanish, I'm not that good but I got the gyst of it. They obviously assumed I couldn't understand but I translated to someone else everything they said. Don't know if they noticed!

I hate it also and I especially hate it when you put your money into the cashiers hand then you put your hand out to get your change and they slam your change down on the counter next to your hand !!!!

it's bad, in my country the people stare at you when you offer the money for your goods, then when they have to give you change they stand with it in their (closed) hands while they talk to their friends. very rude.
