If the parking spot is to your left, you usually turn on your left blinker/turn signal and vice versa for the right. So what about in front of you?

drive like hell to get there and honk that ***** so no one dares to mess with you. works for me but it pisses the other people off.

I think that the parking spot is not "owned" until someone pulls into it. Just be the first to get there and you'll be all good.

the CORRECT way is to use your turn signal to indicate that you are waiting for the spot

i usually just drive in it... there isn't any time dor someone else to get it, even then who cares, you can just park a little farther down and walk, the excercise would be good for you
