yes except there are countries like Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark that do not get sunlight for 6 months out of the year. During winter. So no can do there.
However we can do it in California and other states that get more sun on the Westrn world.
I hope you saw the movie by Al Gore "An Inconvenient Truth", which has been reviewed by over 100 scientists and has been approved as an accurate data based warning of the global warming effects now and in ten years from now, if we dont take heed and start doing A LOT to stop pollution of the earth's ozone
layer.
I saw Al Gore's movie and HE DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB. AND I HAVE NO POLITICAL DENOMINATION NOR POLITICIAN.
BUT AL GORE REALLY HAS WARNED NOW THE WORLD OF WHAT'S TO COME IN AND WITHIN 10 YEARS IF WE DONT CHANGE OUR BAD WAYS TO DESTROY THE OZONE THAT ALREADY HAS RISEN SEA LEVELS AND WILL BY 20 FEET IF ONE DONT STOP THE POLLUTION.
Pay attention people if you read this one, its a fact that we will hve a lot more problems in 10 yrs like millions haveing to escape if htey can. If we dont stop polluting, an dyou can do as little as unplugging (whennot in use) all yr electronics so they dont emit radiation either. that affects too.
from electronics, cel phones, electricity but mostly oil products which cause smoke and pollution like cars that use gas. they really do the worst damage. and guess now why Bush won't seee Al Gore's movie? said directly by him He will never see the movie. Because it is about the oil industry being the biggest offender of the earth's ozone depletion.

If it were more cost-effective. Global warming doesn't necessarily mean more sunshine and the current cost of solar energy doesn't provide a large enough profit margin for electric companies to give it a real try.

yes, absolutely, but everyone here is too stupid and stuck-up, since they HAVE to drive suv's and all and waste all our energy! but this human race of today's society is too dumb to really care and/or do anything about it.
