..if you needed to be born again?

Mine certainly would. She's already been through Hell the first time; I doubt she wants to do it again.

What about yours? Would she be a little upset, too?

Honestly, even if they were only guessing you'd think they'd get it right every now and again by chance!

How do you deal with people who do not take responsibility for their behaviour, actions, mistakes etc? They point their finger at everyone else and play the 'blame game'. Or they change the subject away from themselves.

People talk about God having a plan for us and also claim that he gave us free will?

This confuses me. If everything is already mapped out then any free will is just an illusion. On the other hand if we do have free will he cant have a plan for us as our fate would be determined by our own individual choices.

How do you reconcile this?

We did in the Gold Country Mother Lode area in N. Calif. It was called Jimtown or Jamestown. 1800s hotel. That was quite an experience. It is not even listed in the haunted hotels directory, but it should be. A charming small OLD hotel however.

The anciant brothel(at one time)was across the street, maybe that had something to do with it. Many fights and killings back in the good old days.

I find it so ironic that God killed Ananias and Sapphira for lying about the purchase price of their land and not giving all of it to the apostles. I guess the moral of this story is you better make sure you're giving enough of your money to the church or God will strike you dead on the spot

Gay people are a more evolved part of the human race.. embodying both the male and female qualities that balance aggressiveness with tenderness... drive and ambition with thought and planning... our species will one day be gender neutral... and be able, through evolution, to procreate with any member of the same species... gender is an outmoded vehicle ...homosexuals are the first step towards furthering our species... is there any other conclusion that can be drawn?

The Jewish calendar involves three things: 1) The solar cycle, 2) the lunar cycle and 3) the rotation of the earth. Am I interpreting this correctly? Is the tilt of the Earth in this formula as well?

My 21 year old cousin (from Germany) wore a speedo brief swimsuit to Schlitterbahn (indoor heated water park) yesterday when we went with some friends... Do you think most people assume that he is literally a homosexual for wearing that? Because I know him very well, and he definitely is NOT gay. I was wondering what people assume, if anything?

A true prophet is not just a one time prophet.
a true prophet gives his life to service, as did the twelve apostles, Paul, and Joseph smith. Show me a prophet who fits your field of vision. Christ was a wine bibber and a glutton to those of short vision.

OK, so explain how that freewill applies to the 9./11 passengers.

It seems Allah was the one allowing the freewill choices on that day.

Doctors would do bleeding and used leeches to draw "bad blood" from the patients, but you don't hear people say that about doctors now. Why do people cast off the medieval mindset with doctors but not Christians?

I'm talking girls 17 y/o upwards dating men of around 27 upwards. Why is there such a hardline attitude to this, yet women mentally mature quicker than men and a 27/30 year old is more likely to be able to take care of her than some sap her own age who is probably more interested in screwing around.

i mean the change from asking questions in the religion & spirituality section to the Ramadan section.
i made the change because whenever i ask a question on Islam on the other section i just mainly got a bunch of atheist and antimuslims leaving nasty, mean, rude, disgusting and distubing answers.
in this section i mainly get positive answers.

Do any of you believe in luck, magic, superstitions, ghosts, or anything similar?

Has anyone else noticed that theists are almost always the ones posting queries regarding
ghosts,

bad luck from not forwarding chain mail,

Criss Angel-real or demonic?,

black cats and ladders, etc....

Theists, have you ever noticed this? If so, what do you think about it?
