I find it so ironic that God killed Ananias and Sapphira for lying about the purchase price of their land and not giving all of it to the apostles. I guess the moral of this story is you better make sure you're giving enough of your money to the church or God will strike you dead on the spot

God was not upset that they did not give the money, they lied to the Holy Spirit about giving it. God does not want our money, He wants our heart.

Any church that wants your money, you need to run from. God killed Ananias and Sapphira for their disobedience, not that they did not give all the money. The money did not have anything to do with it, it was the fact that they lied to God. Now the Bible does teach tithing and offerings. That is to fund various ministries. God does not need your money, he wants your obedience.

Yes, for the physical church worships 'mammon", it serves the devil, and is the seat of Satan.

Jesus honored the woman because she remember the true laws of her Father in heaven, she gave all she had because she knew who she was, and it was commanded by the Father.

Those Words Jesus spoke, we knew from the beginning, because we were born with those same Words.

We knew that we should sell all that we own and give the money to the poor, Jesus did not say give it to the church.
And to those that believe on Moses, Jesus did not condemn, because they were blameless.

"The Word of God" is the true Word of God and it told us in 1 Chronicles 17:2 God the Father's Son Jesus the Christ will build the Father a place in which to dwell.

Moses, the prophets, Peter and Paul spoke their own words, not the Words the Father gave them to speak.

Actually, that story you referenced forms the First Principles of our modern Income Tax and Revenue Service. Ananias & Sapphira basically lied about their income, they didnt report all of it as they were obliged to do according to the Law. So they were struck dead right on the spot. That's a lesson for all of us nowadays when we think about withholding some vital info pertaining to our taxable income. Praise god.

without my church interior the area I stay many homeless would not be fed many human beings would flow hungry homeless w/o clinical care. We this weekend are helping people who's properties are falling aside to rebuild and help them placed existence back mutually. A church is a needed area of community they do way extra advantageous than you will ever understand. God does ask us to share in our wealth or loss of this is a Christian concept that each and all of us belongs to God,we are yet momentary stewards doing his will. What we supply is between us and God the Church would not mandate giving this is unfastened will.

The Church needs money to sustain its buildings and operational costs, as well as its ministries. My Church has a food pantry, Knights of Columbus, St. Vincent de Paul, AA, and many other ministries that are for the benefit of the entire community, not just my parish. Can we help it if food and services cost money?
