Gay people are a more evolved part of the human race.. embodying both the male and female qualities that balance aggressiveness with tenderness... drive and ambition with thought and planning... our species will one day be gender neutral... and be able, through evolution, to procreate with any member of the same species... gender is an outmoded vehicle ...homosexuals are the first step towards furthering our species... is there any other conclusion that can be drawn?

the future is the hermaphrodite... a human with both reproductive organs... If you look at history.. men are becomming more and more effeminized and women are becoming more able to embrace their masculinity... both sexes will end up eventually meeting in the middle.. so frosty... procreation will of course still exist... but you will be able to procreate with any member of your species that you desire... thereby furthering the best characteristics regardless of "gender"... and speeding up the evolutionary process because of that...

Actually, there's a theory which states that the male gender will eventually become extinct at some point in the future. If you want, I'll pm you the name of the book about this theory.

EDIT: Why heck am I getting thumbs down? This is an actual theory from a book which was written by a professional who works with genetics. If you simply don't like the basic idea of this theory, then that's your problem.

this is a rather loaded and unfair question. You can tell that you have already made up your mind about the answer. Is that fair? All we have here is a case of "chosen one " syndrome, where a people or person with a history of been repressed and hated, creates a myth about themselves, saying 'okay, hate us now, but soon, you guys are toast!' So you take that hate and hold it inside and think, 'I just have to wait and all my problems will disappear' because you are the chosen ones. And when others, even from your own group, start hating you purely for your hatred, you just think 'They are traitors, we are the true chosen ones' It's the basis of black supremacy, much Jewish myth, and other groups world wide. I don't hate blacks, I don't hate Jews, and I do not hate homosexuals, but I do think you are just been bigoted.
And I don't think homosexuality is being the next stage of human evolution. For evolution to work, you have to reproduce, and while there are technical exceptions, homosexuals don't often reproduce. There have been cultural changes in the last 100 years, but I don't think much of it has to do with human evolution as far as genetics are concerned. I do not care if I do not get the best answer for this one. I do think however it is the right answer. Don't spread the hatred, the world already has enough.

It's a nice idea, but I doubt it will happen. It's true that a very small percentage of the population are true hermaphrodites, but although they have both sets of genitalia, only one set is functioning - there's never been a case reported of a human who could fertilize themselves. Which is a good thing. People mate with others of different DNA, in order to enlarge the gene pool. There are some less evolved animals who can fertilise themselves, such as some lizards. But if you look at evolution, you will see that organisms have evolved from being asexual to being bisexual (that is needing two sexes to procreate). My view is that homosexuality is valuable because it's a natural way to limit the population. I think you will agree that the planet is now adequately populated.

I think homosexuality is nature's response to the growing human population.

I would bet (just a bet now) that percentage wise (if there was an accurate way to measure), there is a higher percentage of homosexuals now than 100 years ago.

According to infoplease.com (see link below) the world population in 1927 was 2 billion. As of today, there are over 6.6 billion people. The world population has tripled in less than 100 years!

Nature (evolution, whatever name you want to use) has found a way to slow population growth.

It's a nice idea however you offer no evidence of your conclusion. In fact, recent studies (that predict the further speciation of homo sapiens) predict that the biological wedge between genders will deepen due to social pressures. It is expected that women will eventually develope larger breasts, shorter height, larger hips, and a lack of hair on their legs. The converse is expected for men.

That question makes no sense at all. If we were the next step in evolution, the whole race would die.

Why ask a question that doesn't even warrant an answer for how stupid it is?

How would we reproduce and keep the population going? If everybody were homosexual, we'd eventually die off as a species. I don't think that's considered evolution.

Why would anything you stated help them to survive or reproduce better? Evolution is not working towards a goal, nor are we any more highly evolved than other species. And finally, homosexuality is not limited to humanity, many social animals display this behavior.

I get what you're saying ,but I wouldn't say that it was likely. ,because we don't know exactly how the human body was made and who made it up. So It's possible ,but I wouldn't count on it. And it's not silly. I would like to say that Nothing is wrong just different. SO I mean if you do science and stuff like that. You know, it could happen. I guess.

What dreck.

Homosexuals would not be an evolutionary step up. In a purely biologic sense they are anti-evolutionary as they do not mate a male and a female to produce offspring. You might say "they can do sperm donation/host mothering" but that is still not "homosexual" - it is a work around to use the built in heterosexuality of humans required for preservation of the species.

I also disagree with your main thesis. It implies all homosexuals act the same way. One would then wonder where the "queens" of the male homosexuals come from in comparison to the non-queens or where the "bulldykes" of the female lesbians come from as compared to say the "lipstick lesbians".

Having worked in an industry where I knew many homosexuals (and having a brother who is one) I've known many and have found just like other people you have all sorts of personality differences between them. At one job we had a "militant" homosexual type who once told me people didn't like him because he was gay. I pointed out that another gay coworker was generally well liked by everyone so it obviously wasn't his homosexuality that was the issue but rather his "in your face" attitude about it.

Heterosexuals don't go around saying "I'm straight - acknowledge me" but some homosexuals like that guy think they have to say "I'm gay - acknowledge me". Personally I don't care about anyone's sexuality unless I want to be involved with that person.
