I'm just curious......How did Jesus dying and being resurrected save us from our sins? Please explain in detail.....I'm really not that bright.

We still sin.....and we still get in trouble......so how are we saved from our sins?
I'm serious. No rude answers please.
Thanks

Sound like a stupid question? I want to see how many can actually tell me.

Bonus question: When did Jesus die?

a question requesting everyones personal opinion on an issue, some christians are most likely to answer not only for themselves but on behalf of all believers.?
does the implication of 'we' rather than 'i', indicitive of one of the reason why some people will cling to a religion, loneliness?
could it also be fear of the threat of someone taking it away, seeking emotional security in numbers?

Somebody sent me this message anonymously and I can't figure out what language it's in.

Τα σχόλια σου είναι απολύτως ανώνυμα! Κανείς δεν θα δει ότι έγραψες εδώ!

You don't need to translate it, just the language is fine.

This has to be one of the most destructive expressions I've ever heard.

What kind of lesson is it exactly?

don't try to be good or you could get in trouble?

It is often used to chastise a child for some careless act , not properly thought out.

But the repercussions later, tend to make people think twice about doing good deeds for fear of reprisal if they are not appreciated. Malpractise laws have made real doctors shy away from lifesaving efforts for this exact reason.

Yes, you should think things through if they will impact others. and yes some people ARE ungrateful....

it is always those people who will use that expression rather than try to appreciate the thought behind a genuinely good act, usually because it interferes with their own private (often sinister) interests.

lets stop saying it altogether

What social conditions have brought this about?

As somewhat of a nihilist (not "annihilist," but rather believing that there is no objective meaning, purpose, good, bad, right or wrong), sometimes I struggle to find the point in continuing to exist. I've tried the god thing (Christian Tormentist) and came to realize that it only bastardizes what meaning life DOES have (it was the darkest time in my life). Through it all, I've found many things to help me through the dark, bleak times, and I was wondering about my fellow atheists, nihilists, etc., (and what better time to ask than when most of the theists are away?).

So what gives your life meaning?

Besides faith in Jesus, if so why did Jesus say He was the only way into Heaven, only through Him. He also said that many will make the wrong choice, taking the wide road. His way is the narrow way. Jesus also said that that the world will hate Himand his followers.

Some time I see people speaking different languages have different defination or interpretation of the same thing or same phenomena.Likes and dislikes also different for the same thing they see.
On this subject, many thinkers and philosophers have written volumes especially in India and China.
