GHOSH - of West Bengal and Bangladesh is a surname or title belong to Hindu -Kayastha caste. It is their occupational name,derived from Sanskrit ghoṣa ‘cowherd’.-

Seems that either you want to make relationship & if he belongs to your cast of your region. Same casts are known by different titles in different states in India. Ghosh are Bengali Kayastha, ok.
