I have a rule...I always think about something for 24 hours before I act on it...it has saved me many times.Being female I am emotionally driven...sometimes my emotions get in the way of logic. After the 24 hours if my mind is made up then LOOK OUT their is no stopping me then.

Yes, sometimes the voice of reason wins, but not very often. If I make up my mind to do something I have a pretty good reason.

Usually not, I am pretty hardheaded and independent, unless somebody can point out that it is a) impractical b) to expensive c) just plain stupid d) or some other foolish trumped up excuse, and make me actually listen to them.
And then, I usually wait until I am alone, and do it anyway, if for no other reason than to prove that I CAN.

Not much. Once I have made up my mind to do something I find a way by hook or by crook.

It would take a very good reason to stop me. To make up my mind to do something would have taken considerable thought and prayer to begin with, so if I've decide to do it, I will continue

Of course there is... my mind is open to options all the time. You learn something new everyday!
I certainly have learned a lot today!

I certainly would hope so...common sense is one of them...we can all get caught up in the moment, then suddenly realize that just perhaps this might not be the wisest thing we could do...and if conditions change, if more data is collected that indicates it would be foolish to continue, then only a fool would proceed. We may be older, but we are not stupid. Goldwing

Yes, if it is something that would just get me in a bind, usually my mouth. My Mom or sister give me pretty sound advice. If they say not to do something I usually listen.
