OK, so explain how that freewill applies to the 9./11 passengers.

It seems Allah was the one allowing the freewill choices on that day.

Freewill means no deity interferes: not Allah, not Jesus, not anyone. It merely means things happen because they happen and we may never understand why.

You infer that Allah wanted 3 thousand plus people to die on 9/11. This is simply not true. It is as if you had said Jesus wanted these people to die. Surely if Jesus had not wanted 9/11 to happen, he would have prevented it....and yet he did not. Is that the same as saying Jesus willed it to happen?

Every time you get into your car and drive down the expressway, you are exercising free will and accepting the fact that your choice may cause your death. Blaming one deity or another for this is bigoted and foolish.

That's an odd question, I don't get the correlation.

The passengers had the choice to get on the plane. The terrorists had the choice to leave their weapons at home. The pilot had the choice to fly the plane. Looks like they all chose badly.

The point is, yes, you have free will, and yes, you have to face the consequences of it. That's the part people don't get, you can choose to walk in front of a bus, but don't complain if you get run over, that's the consequence of your action.

Every single one of us is responsible for our choices. You cannot hide behind your beliefs as an excuse to break the law or cause pain to others. The passengers on 9/11 had no choice in the matter - but the hijackers did, and no god would have condoned their actions

Human beings would not be human beings if there was not the ability to make choices. For example, if I did not have the ability to love God then my love would be robotic and not genuine.

Likewise, the people who decided to highjack the airplanes imposed their will on the passengers and other innocents. God (not Allah but the God of the Bible) can not be held responsible for those actions.

Welcome to the paradox. The passengers only freewill, after the high jacking, was to either sit there and take it or do something about it.

Choices are what you can make but what presents those choices is not always up to you.

Freewill. It is Gods way of showing that he loves us. If you were forced to do something repedtly that you didnt like to do you would not have love for the person forcing you. Thus, for god to truly shows he loves us, he must allow bad things to occur.

Of course, every choice has consequences...unfortunately, we also suffer the consequences of other peoples' choices...that's life...and that's probably why God made "love one another" part of the "prime directive".

Yes, Allah is in control of nothing. The terrorists exercised their free will to be idiotic murdering cowards.

All choices lead to consequences. Whether they be good or bad or neutral, is another matter.
