I did it agian today... And while I was dropping it off, the worker said he would use the pillows tonight... So sad so many people live without...

If you don't donate, please start to now... What we stuff away that will more than likely never be used will be of great use to someone else..

We do it quite frequently. Over the years we have accumulated so much stuff. We are planning on moving in about a year and we are paring down. I am also trusting my husband to just be ruthless and only keep the most sentimental and useful.

I sure do! Clothes, shoes, sheets, and coats all go to goodwill. And some things that seemed to damaged or your not sure if you can donate (I'm thinking old blankets, towels, etc.) you can donate to your local animal shelter. They are forgotten a lot. And they don't care how stained or old it is, they just care that it will comfort an animal and keep them warm.

Funny, that is what I spent the day doing.
I have imagined what it would be like for my daughter to have to clean out my house after I am gone, and decided to start to do it FOR her!

Hey I have ALWAYS done this. I just don't have time for yard sales, and besides, donating is better in the long run!

I do. As I said in the last question I answered, I rescue pets & sometimes people. This means in some cases they stay with us & in others, I give them clean, undamaged clothes, blankets, sheets, etc. I do what I can.
