i've been dating my boyfriend for almost a year. my grandma gave me a card with money in it to give my boyfriend for christmas when i next saw him. when i gave him the card he opened it and said oh that was so nice of her to think of me, but left the card laying on the table and put the money in his wallet. it seemed rude of him to not take the card and this keeps bothering me. what do you think?

One night, this guy is invited out for a night with the guys. He promised his live-in girlfriend that he would be home by midnight. Well, the hours passed and the beer was going down smooth, and before he knew it, it was 2:30 a.m. Drunk as a skunk, he headed for home.

Just as he got in the door, the cuckoo clock in the hall started up and cuckooed 3 times.

Quickly, he realized that she'd probably wake up, so he was quite proud of himself when he thought to cuckoo nine more times. Even in his drunken haze, he fell asleep smiling about how he had escaped a possible conflict.

The next morning, his girlfriend asked him what time he got in, and he replied, "Twelve." She didn't seem disturbed at all, which made the guy feel even better.

She then told him that they needed a new cuckoo clock.

"Why is that?" he asked.

"Well, last night our clock cuckooed three times, said "Oh, crap," cuckooed 4 more times, cleared its throat, cuckooed another 3 times, giggled, cuckooed twice more, and then farted."

What kind of water is used for Holy Water?
I know with some pagans/wiccans etc they seek out spring water to bless.
So, I was just wondering what sort of water does the Church use for their Holy Water.

Thanks in advance!

IF there is a after life and IF God forgives all sins, would a person who commits suicide be forgiven by God but hated by the people he left behind? I ask this because I am thinking about it but dont want my children to hate me in the ( if there is ) after life.

I heard some passages in The Bible saying that its sin to eat the blood of the animal and im wondering if you cook it does it burn away the blood or something? I have been eating sushi and it is not bloody, even if its not cooked... So is it a sin to eat sushi because it has blood or is it drained enough even though its not cooked.... Is there a requirement to actually cook the animal, does cooking it even burn away the blood?

Thanks..

I work at Target and this past week alone 3 kids must have thrown up there. You know your kid isn't feeling well and obviously we don't want to clean up half digested pineapples off the carpet, so why do it?

My mom is a hypocrite. She is nice and polite to everyone else, including my spouse and our little boy, except me. The way she behaves around me I might as well call her a biatch. She talks way too much and nags, she critizes and patronizes me, she acts like she doesn't listen to me when I converse with her politely about anything. When she talks to me, I try to have patience and acknowledge what she says and listen to her, but she will take it too far and start saying things that becomes offensive to me. She doesn't think before she opens her mouth. She makes me mad and one time I tell her I'm not stupid and she had a cow about it. So when I was getting ready to drive her back to the hotel I wanted to make sure she had her seatbelt on and she says "YES! I'm not STUPID!"
When she snapped at me like that, I just ignored her because I knew that I'm more mature than this 58 year old woman. I know she won't change. I swear I will not treat my own kids the way my mom treats me..
WDYT?

I'm making a religion survey. I just need questions that require a short answer [anywhere from a word, to a paragraph] and try to be specific in your questions!

Thank you all!!

These man skirts no longer belong to the Scots, as more Kilts are made and worn in the United States than anywhere else, with Canada coming in second, Scotland third.

The Scottish Kilt always comes in mind when talking Kilts, but when Americans started mass producing their versions, they all have very modern and utility in mind, so which one is the best?

Utility Kilt - Best Known Alternative for the average person wanting pockets and attitude. http://www.utilikilts.com/

Sport Kilt - All around best looking Kilt, with tradition in mind, but for the adventurous and braveheart American.

AmeriKilt - An expressive American-Scottish Kilt just for Americans. http://www.amerikilt.com/

NeoKilt - Where traditional Scottish and American meet, 100% customized if requested for special uses. http://www.neokilt.com/

USAKilt - Another Traditional Kilt, but just for Americans http://www.usakilts.com/

This is my personal observation (being a part of the lesbian community myself), how come whenever you go to the gay/lesbian section in a movies rental store, you see most gay male films have them mostly nude showing off their bodies(and with the exception of the L-word, or a male directed porn, we don't see the "riquesness" of women so much). But especially on tv we're cast into these dialogue hungry, "coping with 'our problems' ", roles when there's more to some of us than that. Does a lot of it have to do with the one's acting contract 'do's and don'ts', censorship?
