memories i hate from 6th grade:
having a teacher bully me (for half an hour) into 'confessing' i'd forged my mom's signature even though they had called her and my mom confirmed that she had signed it.

teacher calling my house and then threatening my older sister because she though it was me on the phone, lying about my mom not being home.

teacher throwing garbage can across the room in a rage. she was angry because she said we probably called her an old witch amongst ourselves. gee.. wonder why she'd think that?

teacher dropping a new schoolbook as she issues it to me, then later says she doesn't remember, charges me $30

i was only 11 so those things made me feel pretty bad.

freshman year:

teachers gossiping about me and giggling. then accusing me of copying a paper because i had 'captured the genre too well'. strange :|

white spanish teacher who cried an entire class period because she though we were making fun of her accent. hahaha

Please elaborate if you understand the question. I'm lead to believe that most don't have a clue about what they believe because their beliefs are driven by what they feel and heresay mainly and rarely on knowledge and documentation. I want to see who is merely ranting and who really believes and understands his God(of choice). No matter what you believe in; this questions for you.

This is for an article I'm writing. I won't say which side I'm on.
I just need to know if any of this is true. Please do not answer my question if you do not live in a country with Universal Healthcare. it's difficult to find the truth when a lot about it comes from biased reports from a secondhand point of view.
I heard that you have to wait a long time. That getting a general practitioner is easy but if you need a specialist you have to wait, sometimes even a few months. How long do you really have to wait?

Alright, so my friend has not been going to church for the past few months because her mother always forced her to and she didn't really like the idea of it in the first place. Now for some reason, she wants to go to church one more time before the New Year. Why, I've no idea.
I myself was raised in a family where no religion was forced upon me. I never had to go to church or pray before I eat or anything like that. While I respect other religions, I am happily an atheist.
I’ve decided that I’m probably going to go with my friend to support her. My question is, what exactly am I supposed to do? Is there any way I can detach myself from the church-happenings without being rude?

This is a section for religion, so why are there so many Athiest answering questions, and sometimes very negatively, about religion?? If you don't believe , and don't care to believe, then why bother??

Athiesm is NOT a religion, so why are you bothering the people who are religious, no matter what they follow??

Many of us would not go to forums and discussion panels just to harrass people about things we do not agree with, so why do some of you feel the need to harrass believers??

I will just be sitting in the living room and i see something dart in the corner of my eye or on the side of me. I never was a firm beliver in ghosts but i am seeing this on a daily basis and it occurs only when i am alone. Can someone explain this?

What issues are you touchy about ? Mine are definately when I hear ( or read ) something negative toward children and when people are ignorant to people with an addictive issue. I always tend to jump to the defense for either.

I can be a very logical and rational person, and because I am Catholic, I sometimes question my own beliefs.

Honestly, I do not want to throw all of my years of practicing this religion out the window, but it can be difficult sometimes for me to just believe and have "faith".

It can be difficult to pray at night just to only feel like your praying to yourself in the dark.

So my question is, whenever you are in doubt, how do handle it? or do you?

Do look up on stories and articles to find some sort of inspiration?
