It has something to do with beliefs not opinion? If life after death is there, then it is there, irrespective of opinion of majority.

This question is totally dependent on what you believe in. False religion has left many confused as to the whereabouts and condition of the dead. Heaven, hell, purgatory, Limbo—these and various other destinations range from being incomprehensible to being downright terrifying. The Bible, on the other hand, tells us that the dead are unconscious; they are in a condition best compared to sleep. (Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10; John 11:11-14) Thus, we need not worry about what happens to us after death, any more than we worry when we see someone sleeping soundly. Jesus spoke of a time when "all those in the memorial tombs" would "come out" to renewed life on a paradise earth.—John 5:28, 29; Luke 23:43

When a person recognizes man is an eternal being that can live independent from his body, then this question becomes crucial.

Man is as ignorant of life after death as he of this earth and it's reality while inside his mothers womb before he was born. His body was being developed where no physical evidence of an outer reality existed. Yet his body was being prepared for it with lungs and heart and brain etc.

If we are immortal beings then what we do in life in word and deed is preparing ourselves for an afterlife we cannot imagine now. But will become a reality after our time on earth is done.

I have heard of young children up until 5 can give you details that are clear and can be confirmed about who they are reborn as..

also heard cant return on earth in another person for seven years...

I knew a women who felt each person has an option to come back and accept the hardships and testing of earth.. each time trying to pass the temptations put upon the previous spirits that have come thru and failed.. get a second chance thru generations of ancestors.

My faith in God tells me.. There is life after death..

You may go to Pithru Loka ,a world our ancestors live for years in a different body based upon their good deeds and then be born again as a human or any living body.

You may go to heaven and live for a period based upon your good or bad actions and return to earth in a human body.

Roam as a ghost if you have committed suicide and after a period,be born again and face the same problem for which you committed suicide. You can never escape problems.

Go to hell if you have committed crimes and sins and experience torture which will be frightening for a period and again be born in a living body and which can be a lowest form of animal .

All these are not jokes.I am very serious.

Dont be afraid.

Always meditate on the feet of God.Chant his name .

All the best.

Hebrews 9:27
And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.

No one can give you comfort for what lies beyond the grave except someone who has been there for at least 3 days and come back to confirm the message. I personally know One who has.

I am not afraid of dying because my life is wrapped within the One who has the keys to death and the grave (Rev. 1:18). Like skindiving, your survival depends on what you wrap around you. If you wish to have eternal life, wrap yourself in He who is eternal.

Revelation 1:18
I [Jesus] am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of the grave and of death.

John 14:2-4
In My [Jesus] Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

How to wrap yourself in eternity...

Accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior for the remission of sin.

Acts 16:30-31
“Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved...”

Romans 10:9-10
If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Absolutely. Earth experience is school for your soul. Reincarnate to teach others the lessons of life you learned previously. My girl and I both agree that the number of times your soul is refreshed in a new body has a limit though. When you know you're wiser than the average bear, you're nearing the end. Kind of like retirement. Peace.

Heaven or Hell..

Or Silence.

I don't really know what waits for me when I die. I am just trying to live my life in the correct way regardless. I just want peace and contentment when I die.

When my father passed a few years ago, I was devastated. I was in disbelief. I wouldn't eat or sleep.

Then one day, in my depression, I heard his voice. He was telling me that everything was okay for him and that I shouldn't worry. That was all I remember. There was no mention of heaven or hell..but happiness.

This gives me comfort and solace knowing that quite possibly, something good is waiting for me on the other side. It gives me hope.

I agree reincarnation. Its the only thing that makes sense. We wear out our bodies so we need new bodies. I personally want to come back as a dog, eagle or dolphin. I am NOT kidding.

EDIT

I am an atheist but LOVE the answer below me. She is rite about the way to live life,

Reincarnation, i get the feeling when you get Deja Vu it is a memory similar to what your spirit has had in a previous life.

Or there is a Heaven and people who have been good get to go have eternal happiness and those who are bad are sent to wander the earth unseen or heard (Ghosts)

But i guess no one will ever know what goes on in the after life

I believe in life after death... this body is just a package to keep the essence of myself in.... the Lord promises that there is life after death and even tells us in what place we may live according to how we act now. Those who accept the Lord as Saviour will be with Him, those who reject him, will face eternity without Him. I sure hope everyone chooses to allow the Lord Jesus be their Saviour and obeys his commands.

Cheers
