God created us to have a relationship with us, however it is sin that separates us from God, that is why he came to earth and died on the cross, he paid for our sins with his life, so that we can ask forgiveness of our sins, and that he can live within us, and that we sin no more.
This is the purpose to life, without believing in God there is no purpose to life, everything just happened by chance and u can do and believe what you want with no consequence in the after-life, sorry wrong.

I said this so many times now, that some are using my words. The Creator is first off: an Entity and always were and will always be! No beginning and no end! I bet you can't see electricity, you can't see God! God has no human face! You can get documentation. When you believe you trust too. Once you trust you love! Then open your eyes and you'll see plenty of proofs. The Sun shines, the nature does its seasons, the animals are free in life. The galaxies far away, that you don't see, are living and on and on... I do lots a meditation, and I can tell you that what I see and where I go is nothing from a belief, but is of knowledge and understanding, it's also a feeling. All of this is due to openness of my spirit! I wish you don't judge since you don't know: people are not stupid...
Take care!

I am not sure what you are looking for here, whether you are looking for someone to show they know what they believe or provide evidence to you that what they believe is true. I will tell you this, to not believe in a creator is madness. I cannot look at a painting and think that it was an accident with no painter, same with a building the evidence of the building is proof of a builder. That is why the Bible says the fool in his heart says there is no God. His existence is evidenced throughout his creation.
There is an abundance of evidence to show that there is a God who created the world and that he loves you, but there is no convincing people who close their eyes to reality. You can't make people believe what they don't want to.
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.

I was taught about God as a young age and at first took it all for granted. Then when I attended school they started teaching us about Darwins theory. (By the way it was proven to be false on TV years ago because the skulls he had were not human after all), but... I got to thinking about this theory about coming from apes and how really stupid it had to be. All animals changed and became something else but still the same species of animals. the Sabor tooth changed into different types of cats, etc.but still remained in the cat family. the Sabor tooth tiger became extinct after this.
So... if we came from the ape then the ape would still be producing humans or would become extinct too! But you see we still have apes and they are still producing only apes. They have never produced a human baby yet.
Now as far as proof of my religion and belief in God. The proof is in the bible itself. The Bible speaks of man going to the moon and even Nasa. The Bible tells of the burning bush of Moses and there is a bush that really burns and produces an oil but does not burn the bush and it is only grown on that mountain.
It speaks of Jesus and the streets where he walked to his death are still there and the same hill and place where he died. This is not heresay it is factual and has been proven.
I read my Bible and learn from it and believe what I have read to be true.
I have also prayed to God and my prayers have been answered and really that is all the proof I needed!!

im buddhist so i follow that philosophy.
but, i think that the world is soooo elaborate! everything is so perfectly placed and created. so perfect, not one person only could have created it. i think that many gods are responsible! i dont mean the egyptian gods, like the ones in Zelda! Four things from space flew over earth and each one was responsible for one part. but there must have been more than four. I believe that gods watch over us, trying to get us by, but we keep messing it up. what with wars and such. i think that earth was created by the sun's birth. and the other planets were as well. but how did we manage to get life? trees? fish? how did people come up with the bible? why do we wonder if Atlantis exists? These are the questions everyone wonders. There is a whole world or things we dont know. We just havent discovered it yet.

I believe in God and Goddess.
I believe they are pure positive life energy sources.
Why?
...First why God and Goddess?
...We were created by our father and mother; why not believe that there is a Goddess who helped God create.
...and second why do I believe that they are pure positive life energy sources?
...where to begin.
First because I refuse to believe that my creators condemn me. And thus if God and Goddess is a pure positive life energy there can't not be judgment day or hell; which is opposite to being pure.
Also because I once believed that I should have some sort of balance between good and evil and such. But I honestly admitted to myself that I don't like being evil or doing bad deeds. Thus I refuse to believe my creators are evil or negative in any way.
Why Source?
...because I want to be one with the source of love and light.
I want to be a child of that love and light. I want to come from that origin. I want to be supplied with all the pure positive loving energy that they are. For I am their child; I am their extension.

he is explaining him self
this quran verse
Allah! There is no god but He,-the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His Throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory).
Other verse
Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The Parable of His Light is as if there were a Niche and within it a Lamp: the Lamp enclosed in Glass: the glass as it were a brilliant star: Lit from a blessed Tree, an Olive, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil is well-nigh luminous, though fire scarce touched it: Light upon Light! Allah doth guide whom He will to His Light: Allah doth set forth Parables for men: and Allah doth know all things.

Sorta.
My one true God *is* creation. In this digital age, folks should understand that it is not so much physicality as patterns that define our experience.
God is patterns. I can worship many gods, because they are all anthropomorphic ways to understand patterns.
Of course there is a creator -- my God, just observe the universality of fractal math. Mine is a cruel and terrible God, who somehow has given blessing such that the universe has become such that humanity can exist. My God just IS... unending, never beginning. There is no creation, just change.
So I guess it's a silly question. Whatever cosmological theory you ascribe to, what came before? And before that? Who was God's mom?

Humans have always suffered with an innate urge to believe in something greater than themselves.
It's certainly a work saver though, once you believe, you get to take the rest of your life off from making decisions.
Look at history. As a species, we have always danced around campfires drinking from the holy gourd, chanting his/her/it's praises and bowing down to some or another space-fairy.
One day we'll grow up and cut out the nonsense, but until then,...........*Oh sorry, can't chat, here comes the offering plate.*
(rattle rattle)
Danny.
(D.R. Backslider)
Ps.
Before you reach for the mark down button, remember you yourself will be guilty of judging your fellow man, and only your god should do that. Who among you castes the stone?
Your words, your rules.

Neither. There is no evidence that the creator has ever existed, so there is no 'created' to believe in, either (although those who do believe in a creator would say I believe in the creation).
