Moramomm,
You should not quote the bible if you don't understand. Especially about things as compicated as the trinity.
The bible says that only people born and filled with the Spirit of God, are able to understand and grasp the things of the Spirit.
The Word of God(bible) is filled with scriptures telling us and showing that Jesus is God
In John ch.1. it says.
In the beginning was the Word,(capital W)
The Word was with God, and was God ,
HE was with God from the beginning, (He= personalizing God)+(with=more than one)+(Is God=abosolute)+(with from beginning=more than one, from the onset)
tranaslation= The Word of God is God, Thee. One and only absolute God , He is a person and God at the same time.
He has more than one person type head and each have a function of their own, but, have one mind. they are each the One and only absolute God, not just part of of Him, They are all One, and the One and only absolute God.
John ch 1 cont.
Through Him (the Word) all things were created. Without Him nothing has ever been created.
Then,
The Word, who is God , became flesh and dewlt among us and was full of mercy and grace.
Jesus is the Word who is God, He became flesh, humblely lowered himself to a servant and a man made of flesh. He wanted no praise for His good works and miracles nor could accept it, because even though He was God and had power, Man can not be worshipped. He choose to be come a man, to teach us about God and the Spirit realm and give His life up to save us from our enemy, Satan.
Ok? so there you have it. one proof that the bible says that Jesus is God.
He is also, the Son of God, and son of man.
To learn more, and have more biblical proof, seek God, and remember, God is the Word.
The bible is the written Word of God .

Jesus is God in human form, 3 things make up the God Head and they are, God the father, God the Son, and God the Holy spirit. When God made man he said, (let us make man in ''our'' image). ''Our'' is more than one, and he was talking to Jesus. Jesus has been with God since the begining of time, since they are the same person, exept Jesus was sent the earth in human form inorder to die for our sins, and inorder to die you must have a physical body. That is why Jesus was on earth. You see I dont beilive that the angels always knew about Gods trinity. But in revelation it says that the lion will lay down with the lamb, i beilive this (lion = God the father) (lamb = Jesus, god the son), wich means instead of the 3 The father, the son, and the holy spirit, they will all be one again. Hope this helps. If you need more answers then just email me.
And I love they way Faith Sojourner explaind the mother, daughter, wife thing, that was a very good way to explain the God Head.

One way to look at it is like this: who are you?
I am: a Mother, a Daughter, and a Wife…I am many "people"…but one spirit.
1 Timothy 3:16
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: GOD was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Manifested means to make visible…God was visible as the Christ in the name of Jesus. There is a Godhead…which makes him the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the part of God which was left here to comfort, guide, and teach us.

Robert Ingersoll figured this Trinity thing out long ago. Read it all the way through and all will become clear.
"Christ according to the faith, is the second person in the Trinity, the Father being the first and the holy Ghost the third. Each of these three persons is God. Christ is his own father and his own son. The Holy Ghost is neither father nor son, but both. The son was begotten by the father, but existed before he was begotten--just the same before as after. Christ is just as old as his father, and the father is just as young as his son. The Holy Ghost proceeded form the Father and Son, but was an equal to the Father and Son before he proceeded, that is to say before he existed, but he is of the same age as the other two. Nothing ever was, nothing ever can be more perfectly idiotic and absurd than the dogma of the Trinity." (Robert G. Ingersoll 1833-1899)

Fact 1: Matthew 28:19
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
Fact 2: John 1:1
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
Fact 3: John 1:14
“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
Fact 4: John 8:58
“I tell you the truth, Jesus answered, before Abraham was born, I am!"
Fact 5: Matthew 2:1
“After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem 2and asked, "Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him."
Fact 6: Matthew 26:62-64
“Then the high priest stood up and said to Jesus, "Are you not going to answer? What is this testimony that these men are bringing against you?" But Jesus remained silent.
The high priest said to him, "I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Christ,[e] the Son of God." "Yes, it is as you say," Jesus replied. "But I say to all of you: In the future you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven."
Fact 7: Matthew 3: 16-17
“As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him. And a voice from heaven said, this is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”
Fact 8: Matthew 17: 5-8
“While he was still speaking, a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!"
When the disciples heard this, they fell facedown to the ground, terrified. But Jesus came and touched them. "Get up," he said. "Don't be afraid." When they looked up, they saw no one except Jesus.
There so many passages in the bible declare Jesus is God, studying this simple facts will let you understand the truth of Jesus Christ.
There is no impossible to God he can do anything he want his knowledge is infinite and it is very difficult for human mind to comprehend his vast knowledge.
Good bless….

Pray and ask God to lighten your darkness. God is not the author of confusion. Jesus is the son of God. There is no way to god but through our Lord Jesus Christ. That's why some people say Jesus is God because Jesus is the only way, because he died for our sins. You be bless in jesus name.

because of god's commandment that there should be no other gods beside him, they couldn't worship jesus as a separate entity in the same way as the Phoenicians and Canaanites had worshipped baal the son of el, this would have broken the commandment and made them polytheists. so they came up with the trinity solution, it wasn't a hard solution as there were many existing pagan gods who were threefold. as far as i know there is no substantial evidence in the bible for the trinity, people have just extracted some vague hints from the ambiguity of the language used in it.

I thought I answered this qeustion?
But let me say this, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are One.
You are body, soul and Spirit - three in one.
Once you have been properly born again by the water and the Spirit everything will fall into place, before that much confusion will reign in your mind just like it is right now.

Polytheists do no longer in many circumstances worship all the gods the two. so as a Christian , i'm no longer a Polytheist . Polytheism is the worship of many gods . As a Christian, I worship one God. He purely occurs to have 3 diverse applications .
