They say that those who don't follow the teachings of christ are not really welcomed in heaven. So what of the Native tribes that simply never heard of the word? Is it right that God would not allow the ones who have never gotten the chance to believe in him into his home? I mean, what happens to them is all im asking?

I find it grotesque. Making kids unconditionally love something abstract that they cant even know exists, it must really mess with their head. Kids should be taught to make judgements with their senses. (But Im still gonna try it on Halle Berry if I ever meet her)

That's not fair to the ones who never had a chance to live life.

It sounds to me like a young, healthy man who's a millionaire here on Earth with a loving family has it better than someone in Heaven has to keep bowing down and worshipping God if they don't want God to cast them down into Hell. At least this guy has something called "freedom" and only goes to church once a week, rather than every single second for eternity.

I don't know about you, but after I die someday and am in Heaven, I'd rather live out all my fantasies that I have now and occasionaly worship God and thank him rather than have my balls cut off, lose all sexual desire, have my archilles heels and knees sliced up where I'd have no choice but to keep bowing down and serving and worshipping God for all eternity without rest.

What about you?
Which would you rather experience in Heaven someday?

us until the end of time? What historical evidence shows that the this was ongoing after the apostles died if not through the Catholic position of the Bishop? Did you know that Catholics believe the Church was ongoing, just as Jesus foretold, through the position of the Bishops appointed by the apostles? There is no historical evidence to support the mormon churches position? The Jesus Christ of the Catholic church is the one and only God, not the brother of Lucifer. An apostate is someone who rejects God, and his teachings. I do not understand why Mormons want to be considered Christians when they consider all christians abomination of the church Jesus wanted to establish.

Yes or no.... Does the mormon church believe there are other gods and that a mormon man that lives properly can become a god?

The water basically has no color. Don't say blue because that's the color of the ocean and the water of the ocean itself actually has no color. Research shows that the blue color is due to billions and trillions of microscopic organisms living in the ocean.
Enough with that. I just want to know who would agree to my statement and why if possible. Why do you think that god is the color of water? If you don't believe in god, just talk as if he exists. Use other religious views of god as reference.

I come from a country where there are no atheists. So all I know about you is from what I can imagine myself.
What makes you an atheist? I have given a few choices that I could think of ...

A) Revolt against the absurd notion that God cannot exist because everything they say is unscientific and unrealistic (like Adam/Eve, Earth is flat, A man was born again three days later, Earth was built in 6 days etc etc)

B) The fact that religion and the concept of God stifles your independant way of thinking

C) You do not believe what you cannot see or hear or feel and it's too degrading to believe something only because everyone else is doing so.

D) Something else. (Please enlighten me on this)

Or is it a mix of some or all of the above??

(This is question # 1 in a series of 3 that I am going to ask - and I do request you to please help me understand your kind)

Life is a test.
Most people think that it is. No one really knows what is on the other side.
Faith is trust in somebody or something, where religion is people’s beliefs and opinions concerning the existence, nature, and worship of a God.
Can you have one without the other? or do you simply need both?

Being a "Christian" means to be "Like Christ." And we see many stories in the NT where Jesus told/warned others of their sins. Of course, it is important to represent you Christianity when you fellowship or warn some of their sin and be prepared to defend your stance. But the Bible is very clear that we as Christians are within our rights in particular with a closer brother/sister to advise them of their sin. Yes, sometimes you may be required to guide a fellow-Christian of their sin. In particular those who may not be aware of their sin.

I've concluded that to hear Louis Farrakhan (I'm not a member of any organized religion) himself paints a quite different picture of him than hearing of him from those who write/report about him.

I just had this question to those who have a negative view of Louis Farrakhan, have you heard him speak himself (not in a soundbite, but in complete, uninterrupted, uneditted statements?) Or does your view of him come from reports of others about him? Not that I'm trying to affect your view of him (this is just a curiosity.)

Thanks in advance to all who answer (if you want to hear him himself, here is a link to a Nation of Islam affiliated website:

"If Maclean's, Canada's top-selling magazine, is found “guilty," it could face financial or other penalties. And the affair could have a devastating impact on opinion journalism in Canada generally.

As it happens, Canadian human-rights commissions have already come down hard on those whose writings they dislike, like critics of gay rights.

Nor should Americans dismiss this campaign against Steyn and Maclean's as merely another Canadian eccentricity. Speech cops in America, too, are forever attempting similar efforts - most visibly, on college campuses."
