It is certainly true that nothing occurs in the world unless the Lord knows about it. He is omnipresent. He knows all things (1 John 3:20). Also, the Bible tells us that God is all powerful. Therefore, if God knows all things and is all powerful, then that means He is in control. If that is so, and we sin, then is God making us sin?

The so called Blacks, Hispanics and Native Americans do not know or consider their true nationality of an Israelite according to the Bible. Have you ever asked yourself, who are the children of Israel according to the Bible? This important question is not frequently considered amongst the true descendants of Israel. Isaiah 1:3"The ox knoweth his owner, and the *** (donkey) his master's crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider." Moses taught the children of Israel that they will be cursed because of their disobedience to God's commandments. These curses/prophecies are a sign unto the children of Israel for ever, to be able to identify themselves and repent of their sins. These curses can be found in Leviticus chapter 26 and Deuteronomy 28:15-68. As we read the signs (curses), ask yourself to what group of people does this prophecy fit?

Ungodliness is sin. This article doesn't say that God's grace is freely given- or even that it comes by repentance. It says you have to deny ALL FORMS OF UNGODLINESS to have God's grace be sufficient.

"When we deny ourselves ‘of all ungodliness,’ then and only ‘then is his grace sufficient’ for us (Moroni 10:32)” (“Plain and Precious Truths Restored,” Ensign, October 2006, p.53).

The Bible says we all have sinned- so we haven't denied all forms of ungodliness- so it would seem that God's grace would never be sufficient.

The Bible says in 1 Cor 10:13 that God always makes a way for us to escape temptation. If we have ever not used God's escape for temptation- i.e. if we have ever sinned we can't say that we have "done all we can do (2 Nephi 25:23).

So according to your beliefs- how do you ever merit God's grace?

My brothers and I usually make it hard to open eachother's gifts but I can think of what to do this year. We have put the presents in cement, on scavenger hunts, and in puzzles. I need more and interesting ways to give them their gifts? Any suggestions?

What exactly does being saved mean? I need a better explanation than accepting Jesus Christ as your personal saviour. I would appreciate any insight into this phenomena, particularly from a Baptist viewpoint.

Most of you know about the great miracle that will happen just before the end, when we will see ourselves as God see’s us , some people will want to die, but can’t. It’s a chance for those who do not believe to come to believe. I don’t know when this will happen, but I do know that when Jesus ascended into heaven he said that the end won’t happen until all the prophesies in the bible and from Moses have been fulfilled.

It seems to me like that might take a while, but who knows it’s probably at the door right now. When the great miracle occurs, how many people do you think will convert? Where do you think you’ll stand and will you be able to look at yourself? That’s my fear, will I be able to withstand the truth about myself, or will I want to die like the rest? What is your opinion on this?

"Put it in God's hands;" "Trust God;" "The Lord will provide." Aren't these all just excuses for lack of effort? or rationalization for earlier failures?; or plain-old whistling in the dark because we don't, and can't, know the future?

I think the reader can guess what I believe: that attitude is lazy, delusional, and at worst dangerous, but very seductive to the credulous and the pollyannish. Someone who thinks different, try and convince me...

So, I was putting my kids to bed last night and while trying every threat in the book to get them to at least lay down I resorted to telling them that Santa was watching and if they were not good, there would be no presents. My mother said it to me when I was young and it just kind of slipped out.

Christmas is a very stressful time of year for alot of people. Its year end so work is stressful, with the holidays and the cold weather and everything that just piles up. Maybe Santa was kept around to try and make things a little better for parents? What do you think?

"A DISTURBING "sing-along" DVD for children which appears to glorify suicide bombing was last night under police investigation after being found on sale in Yorkshire.

The video begins with an Arab woman playing with her two children, then leaving her home with dynamite tucked in her dress, blowing herself up after being challenged by uniformed soldiers, and her children and husband finding out about her death on TV.

But there is a disturbing change of tone towards the end of the track. Rummaging around her mother's wardrobe, the girl finds a stick of dynamite hidden in a drawer and, turning to look at the camera, concludes with a steely gaze and the chilling words: "My love will not be by words. I will follow my mother's steps."
