Well, the Book of Mormon is an account of the pre-Columbian populations of the Americas. Many people misunderstand the Book of Mormon and believe that Members of the LDS church use it as an alternate to the bible. That is not true both are used in the LDS church. There may be other books which are lost. There is no way to know what has happened that we do not have record of. It says in John 21:25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

Maybe Jesus Christ did visit and teach in other continents as he did in the Americas.

Google "shih king".

Chinese history preserves a story of the flood presumably written about 1800 BC and in detail very close to that of the Bible.

(There's an urban legend that there are something like 600+ ancient preservations of some kind of flood story seperate from the Bible, but almost all of these can be shown as influenced by the Catholic church, including the Mayan story written by a Mayan historian after becoming a Catholic friar. This Chinese legend has yet to be explained as anything but an independent Chinese legend.)

Interesting question!

My guess would be that the writers of the Bible had no idea these other places even existed!

But of course God would know of these other continents and regions. Perhaps it's very possible God revealed himself to other 'Abrahams' in other regions of the world. Of course these people would know him by a different name, and the religious tradition that developed would not be based on Middle-Eastern culture. And when the two religious cultures finally discovered each other, each would think the other was foreign and pagan! 8^) Interesting thought!

The Abrahamic religions have their Mythic events taking place in Historical time, unlike other religions. Therefore these events have to happen in identifiable times and locations, and spread by natural degrees from there.
Just as, after Mary was impregnated by the Holy Spirit, the growth of the person Jesus had to go on in a natural manner from there.
This does not mean that other cultures are excluded from God's righteousness. Romans 2:14-1514 says: "For when Gentiles who do not have the Law do instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law to themselves, in that they show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them."
No, not everything in the Bible is in historic times, but Moses and Jesus were in historic times.

He almost certainly did. However, there is an absence of record; only the Israelites have a record of God prior to Christ.
