don't you think you should at least try and polish the dull side?
It's my way of saying I'm just wondering how to get more of you to ask a q on the uk seniors page, it's looking very empty tonight.

I've just had a very nice mail asking me how to see the uk site.
If you click on the uk flag at the bottom you should just see the uk and ireland page. This is all I see when I first enter. To the left of the page is a menu you can drop down. I click on that so I can see all english language questions.
Hope that makes sense. I love to join in with the rest of the world. We don't get many questions on this side of the pond.

WEll, Good answers to you all. Sometimes things happen in life and we are going to not look on that brighter side. Especially with the death of somone young who has died due to an Hospital's screw-, car accident and all sort of thing different types we will all go through life with. During the non-bright areas of my life I go to God and work it out with him and not in a nice lovingway either, I get things straightened out with Him and then I can come to others and with my family and friends help, I then can begin to laugh and cry at the same time and before I know it there is not a dark side to what I had been feeling and Life goes on. God gave us emotions for a purpose and we are to use them and then we can come out the other side of it and help someone else.
Now, I go to both the U.S. side and the U.K side and yes questions do come to the U.S. and all are the same from them .
Personally I love the U.K a whole lot and feel the people nice and loving. It seems it is the male and a few females from the U.S. I find to be the rudest of all. YA has given us the chance to build a long bridge to try and end the incorrectiveness and get the truth. That's why we really need to be as HONEST as we can. At least that is what I do as I step into another area and all anybody wants is that honesty. I have made some beautiful friends on both side of the sea and for me the Sea doesn't seem so far away.
Don't be upset if you don't see many of the same here now, as there was some trolls who tried to break Seniors up but as you can see they lost!!! The Victory comes by Suzie s not giving up.
Happy or Merry Christmas to you all!!!

Wrong thinking. Yin and Yang. There must be a bright side, because if there is a dark side the opposite is also there. Without day, there is no night. Without high there can't be a low. As there is darkness so there is light, But between theses two extremes there is life - mediocre, indifferent and "just is". The negativity you are suffering is due to your own doing. Nobody and nothing in this world created, your specific circumstances. You, making a decision which in hindsight was not such a good decision. Pick yourself up, dust yourself of and start again. The metronome of life. Peace.

That's so funny-I was thinking the same thing. Like you have to ask at least one questions for each 5 you answer. I think some people are just shy or think that no one will answer their question (Like the person who just asked if no one liked her because she had only gotten 7 responses to her previous question). Oh wait-is the uk seniors page different than this one? I thought this was worldwide seniors. Anyways we have the same problem here on this site. Some just take longer to warm up than others.

I just went to the UK site. Your right, not many questions. I clicked on one I recognized from earlier today. I saw the same answers from the same people as the US site. That seemed strange. It looks like the questions and answers in the UK are posted on both sites. What do think?

Go girl! if you take a positive attitude in polishing the dull side you will finally see the bright side shine through! Always turn a negative into a positive That's what I say!

Some things in life are bad
They can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse.
When you're chewing on life's gristle
Don't grumble, give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best...
And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...
If life seems jolly rotten
There's something you've forgotten
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing.
When you're feeling in the dumps
Don't be silly chumps
Just purse your lips and whistle - that's the thing.
And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...
This is from Scottish Suzie. Happy Xmas x

Thank you for the suggestion. I just looked at the UK site and you are right. The senior section is quite empty. I will venture into some other categories.

Oh Sylvia, I know what you mean, I've been nipping back over to ours a few times and it is very sparse!!!, if I had something interesting to ask I would, as the Abba song goes "I'm nothing special, in fact I'm a bit of a bore"....but I will post on UK if I could think of something interesting to ask xx

I am the Original optomist,I could be a descendant of Mr Micawber. I ALWAYS see only the shiny side of the coin as life's to short to look on the dark side. Merry Xmas.
