What do you think?

I'm not a Mormon, but I do enjoy learning about various religious beliefs. My personal beliefs are that we all came from Adam and Eve and their descendants. Somewhere along the way, various religions began to develop - and that is what fascinates me. The origin of beliefs.

My personal beliefs are the Jesus Christ is my personal Lord and Savior. I believe the He died on the cross for my sins and washed them away in His blood. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God in that God was manifest in the flesh as the perfect sacrifice for our sins.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

As you can see in the above Scripture, it says Only begotten Son when speaking of Jesus. Lucifer was God's creation - God's most beautiful angel who became evil. He is not the brother of Jesus.

Do you read the Bible? It confirms that there is a Heavenly Mother.

Latter-day Saints infer from authoritative sources of scripture and modern prophecy that there is a Heavenly Mother as well as a Heavenly Father. Latter-day Saints believe that all the people of the earth who lived or will live are actual spiritual offspring of God the Eternal Father (Num. 16:22; Heb. 12:9). In this perspective, parenthood requires both father and mother, whether for the creation of spirits in the premortal life or of physical tabernacles on earth. A Heavenly Mother shares parenthood with the Heavenly Father. This concept leads Latter-day Saints to believe that she is like him in glory, perfection, compassion, wisdom, and holiness, although very little has yet been revealed concerning her. Belief that there is a Mother in Heaven who is a partner with God in creation and procreation is not the same as the emphasis on Mariology in the Roman tradition since Latter-day Saints do not pray to their Heavenly Mother, not do they believe Mary is the Heavenly Mother.

I think it makes sense!

EDIT: "The Mother" is not a term that is used among Church members, in Church meetings, classes or lesson manuals. While the official Proclamation on the Family affirms that each human being is a beloved son or daughter of heavenly parents, there are no teachings about a Heavenly Mother in Latter-day Saint scripture.

Here are the lyrics to a well-known LDS hymn called "O, My Father".

"O my Father, thou that dwellest In the high and glorious place,
When shall I regain thy presence And again behold thy face?
In thy holy habitation, Did my spirit once reside?
In my first primeval childhood, Was I nurtured near thy side?
For a wise and glorious purpose Thou hast placed me here on earth
And withheld the recollection Of my former friends and birth;
Yet ofttimes a secret something Whispered,"You're a stranger here,"
And I felt that I had wandered From a more exalted sphere.
I had learned to call thee Father, Thru thy Spirit from on high,
But, until the key of knowledge Was restored, I knew not why.
In the heav'ns are parents single? No, the thought makes reason stare!
Truth is reason, truth eternal Tells me I've a mother there.
When I leave this frail existence, When I lay this mortal by,
Father, Mother, may I meet you In your royal courts on high?
Then, at length, when I've completed All you sent me forth to do,
With your mutual approbation Let me come and dwell with you."

We believe that we have a Heavenly Mother as well.

Mormonism is the old sex cult of isis and osiris

therefore they need a male and female god head, this is paganism

Mormons teach that you can become god yourselves, infact they teach that Jesus christ became a god himself

lets see where this ideology comes from:

"For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."

Genesis 3:4

Mormons preach you can become gods yourselves, the snake in the garden said the same thing

The bible says trust not a person or even an angel that comes to you with another gospel

1 Galatians: 8-12
But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!

(NIV)

Joseph Smith met an angel called moroni who showed him a whole new gospel called the book of mormon which then disspaeared so no one else could see

The foundation of mormonism is the very anti-thesis of the bible, how can you beleive it's story when its very foundation is condeenmed by the bible?

A HEVENLY MOTHER:

Oh yes, she must have been mentioned in the creation account?

no God created everything, all the animakls and man

who helped him? Jesus did the master co-worker

Let us now create man in our image

I think that there should be one if there is a Heavenly Father. She is probably just not mentioned much in the bible and stuff so people dont take her name in vain or talk bad about her like people do about Heavenly Father. Since didnt he tell people what to write in the bible?

I understand the Heavenly Father, but please elaborate on the Heavenly Mother. (if you are a Mormon). The prophet Joseph Smith was an excellent showman and had a forceful personallity which caused many to believe in his words.

I agree with those that say, "It makes perfect sense." It goes completely in nature with this world we live in. (That was divinely created by the way). Two parents have offspring.

Yes indeed! And I love the hymn, "Oh, My Father," published above.

p.s. Did you know that the plural for Mormon is Mormons--without the apostrophe? An apostrophe thrown in takes on the possessive, such as, "His faith is that of the Mormon's faith."

Not an uncommon perception. The Wiccans have Lord and Lady (God and Goddess) I have spoken to Catholics who feel that God has feminine energy too, etc. I think God is just pure Energy and will take on the shape of your perceptions.
