The water basically has no color. Don't say blue because that's the color of the ocean and the water of the ocean itself actually has no color. Research shows that the blue color is due to billions and trillions of microscopic organisms living in the ocean.
Enough with that. I just want to know who would agree to my statement and why if possible. Why do you think that god is the color of water? If you don't believe in god, just talk as if he exists. Use other religious views of god as reference.

I know two theories on why the sky is blue. One is that the sun reflects the ocean and another is that because of the gases (nitrogen, oxygen, etc.) But I'm not too sure.

The ocean is blue because of light, not the reflection of the sky. Sunlight penetrates the surface of the water. In shallow areas, the sunlight can penetrate all the way down to the bottom. This is how you get the crystal clear waters in the Caribbean. While all colors of light are present in the water, some are absorbed and some are reflected. In shallow water, greens and blues are reflected while the others are absorbed. That is why the water will sometimes have a greenish tint to it. However, in deeper water only the blue light is reflected, so the water appears a deep blue.
The water can also sometimes appear red or brown depending on what type of algae or plankton blooms are occurring.

I basically said that god has no color. This statement was actually the title of some book and I kind of felt like asking how others would think about this statement.

God might could incorporate be counted first, and because he's not be counted (yet organic variety) He does not very own any unintentional traits--in this sense, a shade. issues that incorporate any twist of destiny are be attentive to as ingredients; issues that would exist of their very own suitable. injuries are chanced on interior the ingredients, for no twist of destiny can exist apart from a substance. An occasion may well be a grin. a grin can exist interior a substance, viz. someone, yet there won't be able to be a grin apart from a substance (you're able to undergo in ideas this from Alice in Wonderland while she is conversing with the Chesher Cat who vanishes away, yet his smile maintains to be. Alice then says " i've got oftentimes considered a cat without a grin, yet on no account a grin without a cat".). you haven't any longer have been given the colour green, except this is cutting-edge interior a substance, like grass. in view that God is organic variety he does not have any be counted, like a physique, and consequently does not very own traits that be counted upon be counted--like shade.

Actually large bodies of water appear blue due to the nature of blue light being scattered by oxygen in the water.
Two exceptions to this are the Red Sea and Black Sea.
The Red Sea is red due to algae (red algae).
The Black Sea's color is due to a high concentration of Hydrogen sulfide.
Since the Bible says God is invisible the closer comparision would be "God is the color of air".
God Bless

No. The color of water is from sunlight. Blue light was scattered in the water, and so sea water appears blue. Green color is due to microscopic algae. Yellow in river water is due to mud.

I think that is an interesting statement: "God is the color of water."
That would mean that he is every color, and he is clear, too. Water can be made to change colors, and can represent every color. Water can also be clear, as if it were not there at all: the only reason we know water exists is because we can feel it (by way of touch), and we can drink it.
I wonder what people who get high think of this question?

Water has no color and God is the color of water? So god is nothing. Very wise to make a statement that makes no sense at all.
I think god is the odor of air. Air has basically no odor. so argue this with yourself.

alright,
1. i dont believe god exists...i believe something out there does, but not him. But I will take your advice.
I don't think your statement is possible because water is water and god is god. if you can say god is the color of water then i can say, oranges are the color of the sun. But you don't know for sure what "color" god is (if he exist) because you've never met him to say that he has no color. :) thats how i see it atleast.

Just hold on another year or maybe 1,000 years and we'll all know.
Rev. 10 7 but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, then the mystery of God is finished, as He preached to His servants the prophets.
