Bible prophesy seems to indicate that those 'scattered' from Israel will eventually be gathered again...providing that they seek God with a whole heart and abide by His commandments. The promises are clear: favorable weather, prosperity, fertility, unity, productivity, peaceable relations, protection from hostile attacks, and freedom from plague, sickness, and disease. The promise extends to the immediate families of the 'righteous ones', as well. The bible also indicates that anyone doing this will be the one blessed...but that person only, and their family, and not just anyone, or all of the people of the tribes. See below for references.

They say that the Sephardic Jews are mainly spaniards descended from the tribe of Joseph. My father's name is spanish in origin, 'Peaco'. There is no spanish translation for this word, but it certainly has one in hebrew: 'Word of Jacob', or 'From the mouth of Jacob'. Since Jacob is translated into english as 'James', my family name could also be: 'From the Mouth of James'. As it turns out, the 'Caballeria Peaco ' was a Christian cavalry! They fought against the Muslim 'Moors', and the battle is celebrated and re-enacted once a year in Spain. As we know, James (Jacob) was the first to run the ministry that Jesus of Nazareth founded. As concerning the tribe of Joseph, in the bible, the name Jacob, Joseph, and Ephraim are pretty much interchangeable, and one can be substituted for the other in prophetic interpretations. That links the Peaco name nicely with prophesy, so perhaps my name could really be one of the 'lost tribe people'. How's that for a name background, and lost geneology?

They were never lost. You're talking about Benjamin and the half-tribe of Mannasah. They stayed on the other side of the river Jordan but everyone knew where they were. (Read Exodus and Joshua). The whole "lost tribes" thing was a lot of 19th century drivel which gave rise to at least one pseud-Christian cult that I know of, probably more.

10 of the 12 tribes were destroyed by the Assyrians when they invaded Israel. There are some survivors that will surface when the Messiah finally come to save the planet and wipe away all the wickedness of this world. The two tribes that survived are the Levites (who can talk to G-D) and the tribe of Judah.

They are manifest in the Anglo-Saxons, Celtic and kindred peoples, primarily originally of Europe, Ireland and the British Isles, they migrated into many lands including the United States and Canada, Austraila, certain parts of Africa, until recently, and controlled the gates of the sea for many years until recently. Now, they are pulling back as commanded for the last battle of this age, we will soon see their full manifestation as prophecied, and rulership of the entire world under the kings and priest of Scripture. All the Kings and priests are of Israyl.

www.1335.com has some online tapes to help understand the tribes of Israyl issue. I suggest you go check them out. They are free to listen to and there are about 160 or so to listen to.

Many say they all currently live in Wales

"Teia Tephi is thought to have been the daughter (Tender Twig) of the king of Jerusalem (the Cedar) whom Jeremiah went forth to PLANT in Ireland after the ROOTING-OUT and DESTRUCTION of Zedekiah, the king of Jerusalem in c. 588 B.C.

British occultist and Mason Lord Northampton, who has been atop the Temple Mount in Jerusalem conducting "Temple studies," candidly has admitted in interviews, that he is an adherent of British Israelism, which holds that the British oligarchy has mystical powers, because England was colonized by one of the lost tribes of Israel. "I think the tradition of the Kabbalah is very strong in England, because I think one of the lost tribes came to England. And I think you can spot them, quite clearly, in old English families. I am sure you can. I know they came to Ireland, then to the north of Wales, and then down into England. And then that became some of the oldest families we have."
