Can a mermaid's hair be curly out of the water?

Any length or style or color or whatever you want. Just remember that underwater the hair floats about the body so dont say her/his hair was plastered to her/his head if she/he is under water.
Try getting in a pool or having someone else get in a pool/lake/pond/whatever and see how the water effects his/her hair.

I don't think there is a limit on how long a mermaid's hair could be. And of course it can be curly!

I'm pretty sure it can be any length. But I would have to say a more popular style for mermaids seems to be at least halfway down their back.

Probably long because Im sure its hard to cut hair under water, and I would say probably not curly, because again they are under water.
