we have a magic tree of a nature that we cannot comprehend,
whose fruit is so sinful to eat that it would result in the immediate and eternal damnation of humankind,
placed in a location so dangerous as to make that outcome inevitable,
all apparently for no purpose whatsoever...
yet God knew beforehand that Adam and Eve would eat of it.
So God puts in garden knowing Eve would eat from it since he knows all things from begining to end?

Ok well im christian, and have about 5 years in God's path. i really love it and everyday want to grow more, but things in the world sometimes bring me down. like just when i think im getting to know God more, i fall back into the same sin, and im getting tired of it. i say that it will be the last time i do it, but i do it again the next time. then after i act like nothing happened, and i feel like a big hipocrite!! i wonder at times if God is still even with me after all the times ive let Him down.... please help me, give me some advice or something, id really appreciate it!! Thanks!

So, Mormons believe in being married for eternity! The bible says til death do you part. Which is it? Mormons say they believe in the bible, the book of Mormon, and their D&C book. It sounds like to me that these books are contradicting one another. Explain to me please?

My little 6 yr old wanted to invite her entire class for a b'day party. There will also be the parents and some siblings as well. Being that I'm budget conscious, is it rude or poor etiquette to not hand out party favors? From past experience, it just ends up on the floor or the landfill.

I plan on feeding all 54 guests (27 children/ 27 adults) as well. There will be appetizers, pizza, cake and bottled juices/water/sodas. The venue is at an indoor playnasium, where they charge $7 per child admission.

So, party favors or not?

After school, all of the pious Muslim guys go down to the "prayer room" we have to pray asr...i also go to pray asr and qa'da zuhr, but none of the other girls go. I feel really awkward if i walk into the room and all of the guys are there talking and getting ready for prayer, and i am the ONLY girl! (also i am not quite used to praying in jamaah yet, it makes me kinda nervous) So i pray in an alcove right outside of the room, where i can still hear the leader....but they chide me, saying i should pray in the room with them....but i am not quite comfortable with praying in a room with 6 guys and no other girl there for moral support, lol! I'm fine if it is just one or 2 guys, but just the crowd of them makes me realllly nervous, plus i feel like an outsider, being the only convert =/
Is this really silly of me? Eventually i would like to join them, but right now it makes me uncomfortable. They seem to think it is very silly =/
any....advice? lol idk...input!!! Thanks =)

So if God inspired man to write the Bible, dones this mean God wrote the Bible?

Nothing specific in the bible about it, no passages that simply cannot be interpreted some other way. Right?

Then why is the death penalty all right? Why is it a woman can't decide to have an unviable fetus removed, but she can be put to death if she does. More to the point, why is it wrong to abort a fetus that will turn into a baby who has no chance in the world of being happy, healthy, and good but it's all right to kill him when, after a hopeless childhood, he does something to deserve the capitol punishment. Is there anything in the bible that justifies that? Is there anything in the bible that balances the logic out here?

They are always making comments like that, not in a malicious or disrespectful way but theyre implying that they really like white women which is a little surprising to me. For one Im thinking there is definitely racial tension between blacks & whites in the country & its just surprising to hear them say that....but what im really curious about is why, what is there obsession with white women. And also i wonder if black women mind when they hear that coming from black men. Lastly I hear them say that but its not all that often that I actually see a black/white couple, i mean its not uncommon but i just dont see it often.
