What would you feel, say, or do about an affair you are aware of on a business trip?!

I have no intention of saying anything. I was just really interested in hearing what others feel about the situation. It makes me uncomfortable b/c one of the persons involved is a manager for the company. I feel that they have made a mistake! Anyway, as I said (or typed), I am not going to say anything...just curious...that's all!

It's a tough situation to be in and it is wrong for your manager to put subordinates in that uncomfortable position. If unfortunately they having an affair, they should be keeping it private and out of the work place. If you are afraid for your job the only thing you can do is keep quiet and stay away from them so it's not flaunted in your face. However, if you have a moral dilemma with it, that behavior goes against your convictions and you don't want to "go along to get along," it seems to me it could be viewed as a sort of sexual harassment. You are subjected to it, you can't just leave and go home because you disagree you have to be there for your job. If you are brave and don't feel you should be subjected to that behavior at work then you must go to a superior (not gossip to coworkers) and explain your discomfort with the situation. With that option though, someone (maybe you) is probably going to lose their job. However, if the superior follows proper work place guidelines it will be them, not you. They should understand that you being a captive audience to their sexcapades could make the company vulnerable to a lawsuit.

Keep your mouth SHUT. Telling anyone makes you a simple gossip and troublemaker.

If you're not part of the problem or part of the solution, your talking about it is gossip. Keep your mouth shut.

I'd say it was none of my business, and keep quiet about it...
