... no different than when I see a crowd of Armenian or Hispanic kids together... except they would never be in the cafeteria because there's no crowds of Asians sitting together... the entire cafeteria is dominated by Koreans.

edit: well actually I feel happy because I see a lot of my classmates and friends (which in itself is nice- I'm sharp enough that I have a lot of Korean classmates ^_^)

I was at this sushi restaurant once, this Asian guy sat next to me-- well a few feet away. He ate this big pile of pinkish red fish eggs thing. They little eggs ( not so little the size of pencil erasers) were dripping down his chin and he was moaning in Ecstasy. Some friends of his were eating in a similar fashion.

The place was a buffet with a sushi bar-thing, When I got my food, it took me 3-4 minutes to find a clean plate-- there were stacks of dirty dishes-- the fronts were clean but when I picked one up my fingers would smoosh into some kind of food stuck to the back rim.

The whole experience was bizarre and I can't help but think of it every time I see a crowd of Asians sitting together.

The place went out of business, and I remember seeing in the local newspaper that they owed a huge sum in taxes.

Strange thing is after that experience I still love Japanese food

I wouldn't feel anything different than if I saw any other group of people sitting in a cafeteria.

That is somewhat of a racist question. Why would the average person feel anything upon seeing this.lf you were holidaying in another country, then you would not like people staring or saying or even thinking anything towards you.

Happy to see culture in the neighborhood. Or they must be on a business trip. Depends on the group.

I wouldn't think much about it other than they may be speaking a common language. Why? What do you think? Are you some sort of paranoid racist bigot? I hope not!
